An investigation was carried out to evaluate the impact of the allelopathic effect of Alstonia scholaris leaf extract on morphoanatomical and physiological characteristics of 5 wheat lines. Three extract dilutions were prepared, viz. 0 (control), 15 and 30% of the aqueous extract and sprayed on wheat lines (3094, 5066, M5082, 7076 and A2011) at 15-day intervals until maturity from November 2017 to May 2018. All wheat lines responded differently to an allelochemical extract of A. scholaris.

Subabul is an important protein rich tree fodder which its lopping is extensively used as cattle fodder. It is drought resistant tree, generally grown as border or bund crop in farmers and its lopping is cut for green fodder for animals. For this purpose tree fodder cultivating seems to be a promising strategy for livestock farmers. A field experiment was conducted to find out the relative performance of tree fodder growth at various stages of cutting and suitable lopping interval of subabul (Leucaena leucocephala) during 2019-2020.

A study was conducted at the Research Farm, Division of Fruit Science, FOA Udheywalla, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, J&K India on twenty year old plants of Litchi cultivar Dehradun. The study was conducted to examine the effects of CT from Ficus benghalensis leaves on the feed utilization and health status of kids. Twenty-one Surti kids (4-5 month; 13.04±1.12 kg BW) were divided into three homogenous groups CON (dewormed), PAR (naturally parasitized) and PAR-TAN (naturally parasitized with dietary inclusion of tanniferous leaves). The kids of CON and PAR were maintained in a basal diet, while that of PAR-TAN group were fed a diet containing Ficus benghalensis leaves to supply 1.5% condensed tannin (CT).

The present investigation aimed at evaluating the seasonality of macro-nutrients contents of pear trees during the agriculture year 2007. Therefore, leaf samples were collected at fortnightly intervals form 1st may to 1st October and evaluated for nutrients. In general concentration of N, P,K decreased and those of Ca, Mg, Fe, and Mn content increased from first to last sampling date while as no conspicuous trend was observed in Cu content of leaves. The distinct period of stability for N, Mg, Mn and Zn contents occurred from July 15- August 15.

Studies were carried out to determine the species diversity of fruit flies and pheromone lure longivity was evaluated in guava orchard cv. Allahabad safeda at Fruit Research Station Sangareddy. Randomized block design was followed for the experiment with 8 treatments and 3 replications. Initially all the traps were loaded with pheromone lure, later the lure was changed from the traps at 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 days interval.

This paper presents a method for parsing associative Lambek grammars based on graphtheoretic properties. Connection graphs, which are a simplified version of proof-nets, are actually a mere conservative extension of the earlier method of syntactic connexion, discovered by Ajduckiewicz [1935]. The method amounts to find alternating spanning trees in graphs. A sketch of an algorithm for finding such a tree is provided. Interesting properties of time-complexity for this method are expected.

We have adapted a classification approach coming from optical character recognition research to the task of speech emotion recognition. The classification approach enjoys the representational power of a syntactic method and efficiency of statistical classification. The syntactic part implements a tree grammar inference algorithm. We have extended this part of the algorithm with various edit costs to penalise more important features with higher edit costs for being outside the interval, which tree automata learned at the inference stage.

The tapper returns a few hours later and collects the latex. Rain guarding of rubber trees is practiced to extend the tapping period by preventing the loss during rains. About 35-40 additional tapping days could be obtained every year by rainguarding the trees. Since chances of black rot disease are high, systematic application of panel protectants at frequent intervals is necessary. Rainguarding is recommended only in areas where the yield is 675 kg/ha/annum or more and 25 or more tapping days are annually lost by rain.
