The results of the paper also indicate that finance and continuity do not mediate the relation between supply chain and company performance. The implication of the research is that integration perceptions of supply chain and tax planning may be influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors of each individual. Therefore, the importance of awareness implanting the moral values of each individual to avoid supply chain and tax planning is urgent. However, it requires the participation of the government through the world of education.

Pernicious anemia is an autoimmune disorder that is characterized by the presence of autoantibodies to intrinsic factor and parietal cells which results in the inability to absorb vitamin B12. It is the most common manifestation of vitamin B12 deficiency and accounts for 20-50% of cases.

Circadian rhythms regulate key biological processes and the dysregulation of the intrinsic clock mechanism affects sleep patterns and obesity onset. The CLOCK (circadian locomotor output cycles protein kaput) gene encodes a core transcription factor of the molecular circadian clock influencing diverse metabolic pathways, including glucose and lipid homeostasis.

The receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is overexpressed and an important therapeutic target in Head and Neck cancer (HNC). Cetuximab is currently the only EGFR-targeting agent approved by the FDA for treatment of HNC; however, intrinsic and acquired resistance to cetuximab is a major problem in the clinic.

Clinical management of women carrying a germline pathogenic variant (PV) in the BRCA1/2 genes demands for accurate age-dependent estimators of breast cancer (BC) risks, which were found to be affected by a variety of intrinsic and extrinsic factors.

This article focuses on the influences that learning environments (activating learning and teaching methods, multidisciplinary learning environments, entrepreneurship) and intrinsic motivation create upon Vietnamese students’ creativity in Hanoi. In this study, a self-assessment questionnaire was designed and distributed to 1005 undergraduate students in Hanoi to empirically test the research model and hypotheses.

The older person is at greater risk of falls due to multiple intrinsic and extrinsic factors. This is com‑ pounded when the elderly is admitted to hospitals, as they are acutely ill and placed in an unfamiliar environment. Delirium and polypharmacy further complicate these problems. As falls reflect quality of care with potential for grave outcomes, this study aimed to identify the extent and risk of falls in public hospitals.

Mutation rates vary across the genome. Many trans factors that influence mutation rates have been identified, as have specific sequence motifs at the 1–7-bp scale, but cis elements remain poorly characterized. The lack of understanding regarding why different sequences have different mutation rates hampers our ability to identify positive selection in evolution and to identify driver mutations in tumorigenesis.

Rift Valley fever (RVF) is a vector-borne emerging zoonotic disease of animals and humans, characterized by socioeconomic losses to livestock farmers and global public health threat. The study determined RVFV seroprevalence in cattle, assessed pastoralists’ knowledge about RVF, and factors that influence its occurrence in pastoral cattle herds of Nigeria.

Plant adaptive responses to changing environments involve complex molecular interplays between intrinsic and external signals. Whilst much is known on the signaling components mediating diurnal, light, and temperature controls on plant development, their influence on chromatin-based transcriptional controls remains poorly explored.

The behavioural transition from nurses to foragers in honey bees is known to be affected by intrinsic and extrinsic factors, including colony demography, hormone levels, brain chemistry and structure, and gene expression in the brain. However, the molecular mechanism underlying this behavioural transition of honey bees is still obscure.

Age, gender and genetic predisposition are major intrinsic risk factors for osteoarthritis (OA). Iron increases are associated with age and gene mutation. In the present study, we examined whether serum ferritin, an indicator of total body iron stores, correlates with clinical features in patients with OA, and whether the hemochromatosis Fe (HFE) gene mutation plays a role.

Musculoskeletal injuries are the main cause of premature discharge from military service and can sometimes lead to permanent disabilities. Some intrinsic risk factors are well discussed in the literature. However, the relation between body composition variables and the risk for musculoskeletal injury is not well known or recognized.
