Iterative formula

The study "Apples supply chain strategy influence on the consumers to buy apples products" aims to analyse the power of electronic word–of-mouth (eWOM) on supply chain procedure for trust and its impact on buying the interest of iPhone smartphones among customers. This research used the descriptive method and PLS path analysis. The population in this research was all consumers who are in the Bandung Electronic Center (BEC) with samples collection using an iteration formula.

In this paper, we present a new improvement of the third-order Newton-Krylov method with a quaternary convergence rate and prove the convergence of the iterative formula. In addition, the paper also presents an experimental result to demonstrate the convergence speed of the method.

In this work, we propose a new alternative approximation based on the quasi-Newton approach for solving systems of nonlinear equations using the average of midpoint and Simpson’s quadrature. Our goal is to enhance the efficiency of the method (Broyden’s method) by reducing the number of iterations it takes to reach a solution.

Two new methods of the fourth order for the simultaneous determination of multiple zeros of a polynomial are proposed. The presented methods are based on the fixed point relation of Laguerre's type and realized in ordinary complex arithmetic as well as circular complex interval arithmetic. The derived iterative formulas are suitable for the construction of modified methods with improved convergence rate with negligible additional operations.

The standard way to solve the static economic dispatch problem with transmission losses is the penalty factor method. The problem is solved iteratively by a Lagrange multiplier method or by dynamic programming, using values obtained at one iteration to compute penalty factors for the next until stability is attained. A new iterative method is proposed for the case where transmission losses are represented by a quadratic formula (i.e., by the traditional B-coefficients).
