Needle stick injuries (NSIs) are the injuries that are caused by needles, such as hypodermic needles, blood collection needles, intravenous stylets, and needles used to connect parts of intravenous delivery systems. NSIs are very common and in many instances unavoidable among healthcare providers when they are delivering patient care. Around 75% of the NSIs in developing countries are not reported. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence and other correlates and attributes of NSIs among healthcare providers in a tertiary care teaching hospital in South India. .

This paper aims to evaluate the effect of the January 25 revolution on stock performance in the Egyptian market during 2010–2012 by analyzing its effects on trading volume, market return fluctuation, and closing price. These variables are analyzed pre- and post-January 25 revolution using the Descriptive statistics group unit root test, cointegrating equation model, GARCH model, and ARCH model.

In January 2010, torrential rains that had suddenly swept away a limited area in the Eastern Desert facing Qena Province in Upper Egypt resulted in the enriching of the vegetation of some extremely dry wadis at this location. A vegetation survey carried out shortly after this event, in April, revealed the prevalence of annuals in considerable abundance, which are hardly recognisable in such usually dry habitats.

Animal Identification is a national program to identify animals and track their movement between premises. The information is used by Animal Health Officials to manage disease. The goal is to be able to identify where affected animals have been within 48 hours of confirmation of a disease outbreak or other animal health event. WSDA began voluntary Premise Registration in January 2005. Knowing the locations of animal premises is vital to Animal Health Officials when they are managing an incident. A unique premise number is assigned to a location permanently.

The Environmental Health program licenses and inspects restaurants, motels, RV parks, pools, spas, and organizational camps. Our environmental health specialists teach and certify food handlers and also provide food service manager training. To protect from food-borne illnesses, we license and inspect temporary food events that are open to the public. We also investigate reported cases of food- borne and water-borne illnesses. We monitor over 70 small public water systems in our county. For a fee, we can perform assessments of septic and water systems for loan transactions.

The committee was given the responsibility for developing documents relating to pre- paredness for, response to, and recovery from disasters resulting from natural, human, or technological events. The first document that the committee focused on was NFPA1600, Recommended Practice for Disaster Management. NFPA 1600 was presented to the NFPA membership at the 1995 Annual Meeting in Denver, CO. Our results indicate only a significant reaction of interest rate swap spreads to some policy events. Among others, the rumours of the early warning for Portugal and Germany on 17 January led to a decrease of the swap spread for Portugal, pointing to increasing concerns about fiscal developments. In contrast, when the Council declared that Portugal has an excessive deficit on 5 November, swap spreads increased both for Portugal and Germany indicating a possible positive confidence effect.
