This research study aims at explaining the way in which supply chain performance can be improved by agile supply chain strategy. The phenomenon has been studied from theoretical perspective. A key aspect is the complementary association between supply chain practices and supply chain strategy. It has been suggested that agile supply chain strategy can be supported by specific supply chain practices through a positive relation between supply chain performance and agile supply chain strategy.

Trypanosoma evansi is the leading infectious Trypanosoma spp. in camels (Camelus dromedarius) present in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) that could lead to extensive economic losses. The present study was aimed to assess the prevalence rate of T. evansi in Taif governorate, Makkah province, KSA using parasitological and molecular evaluations, and analyze their genetic relationship targeting internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) and variable surface glycoprotein (VSG) genes.

The plastome of medicinal and endangered species in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Barleria prionitis was sequenced. The plastome was compared with that of seven Acanthoideae species in order to describe the plastome, spot the microsatellite, assess the dissimilarities within the sampled plastomes and to infer their phylogenetic relationships.

The main objective of this study is to empirically test whether there exist short run and long run causality between, residential electricity consumption (REC), industrial electricity consumption (IEC) and economic growth in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Time series data for this study spans from 1990 to 2019. The study adopts granger causality and co. Integration analysis to estimate a vector error correction model (VECM). Results from error correction model show that there exist long run co. integration relationship between targeted variables.

The study uses data of a period 1968-2014 and cointegration test and corroborates a long- and short-run relationships. The results indicate that economic growth and energy consumption contributes in CO2 emissions in both long- and short-run. It means that increasing economic growth of the Kingdom has social cost on the economy in terms of pollution emissions. Based on findings, we recommend to use the alternative renewable sources of energy consumption to avoid the pollution effects of growth in Saudi Arabia.
