Research objectives of the thesis: Research the theories of complex fuzzy sets, complex fuzzy logic and measures based on complex fuzzy sets; research and development of fuzzy inference system based on complex fuzzy sets; research applied techniques to reduce rules, optimize fuzzy rules in complex fuzzy inference system; research on how to represent rules based on fuzzy knowledge graphs to reduce inference computation time for the test set and deal with the cases where the new dataset is not present in the training data set.

Mammalian alcohol dehydrogenases (ADH) 3 form a com-plex enzyme system based on amino-acid sequence, func-tional properties, and gene expression pattern. At least four mouseAdhgenes are known to encode di€erent enzyme classes that share less than 60% amino-acid sequence iden-tity. Two ADH-containing and overlapping C57BL/6 bacterial arti®cial chromosome clones, RP23-393J8 and -463H24, were identi®ed in a library screen, physically mapped, and sequenced.

Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death among women with gynecologic malignancies in the United States. Advanced ovarian cancers are difficult to cure with the current available chemotherapy, which has many associated systemic side effects. Doxorubicin is one such chemotherapeutic agent that can cause cardiotoxicity. Novel methods of delivering chemotherapy without significant side effects are therefore of critical need.
