To assess the feasibility, safe, effectiveness of laparoscopic lateral pelvic lymph node dissection (LPLD) for treatment in low rectal cancer. Subject and method: This was a prospective cohort study of rectal cancers for multidisciplinary treatment with LPLD at Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery, 108 Military Central Hospital between July 2018 and July 2019.

Total mesorectal excision (TME) and lateral lymph node dissection (LLND) without radiotherapy (RT) are standard treatment for lower cT3/4 rectal cancers in Eastern countries. In comparative studies, both TME + LLND and RT + TME yield good local control.

To assess the short-term outcomes of transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME) laparoscopic surgery for treatment of the mid and distal rectal cancer. Subjects and methods: Clinical intervention, prospective, follow-up study without comparison in 57 patients with mid and distal rectal cancer who underwent TaTME in Gastrointestinal Surgery Derpartment, Millitary Central Hospital 108, from July 2017 to December 2019.

To evaluate the results of laparoscopic choledochocystectomy in adults patients. Subjects and methods: Between 01/2015 and 12/2019, we performed a choledochal cyst excision procedure on 68 adults patients. There were 8 cases of open conversion due to bleeding, severe inflammation, disruption of the distal choledochal and liver stones.

Transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) is an emerging surgical technique for rectal cancer. However, the oncological and perioperative outcomes are controversial when compared with conventional laparoscopic total mesorectal excision (laTME).

The introduction of complete mesocolic excision (CME) with central vascular ligation (CVL) for rightsided colon cancer has improved the oncologic outcomes. Recently, we have introduced a modified CME (mCME) procedure that keeps the same principles as the originally described CME but with a more tailored approach.

For patients with mid and distal rectal cancer, robust evidence on long-term outcome and causal treatment effects of transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME) is lacking. This multicentre retrospective cohort study aimed to assess whether TaTME reduces locoregional recurrence rate compared to laparoscopic total mesorectal excision (LapTME).

Radical Prostatectomy The goal of radical prostatectomy is to excise the cancer completely with a clear margin, to maintain continence by preserving the external sphincter, and to preserve potency by preserving the autonomic nerves in the neurovascular bundle. Radical prostatectomy is advised for patients with a life expectancy of 10 years and is performed using a retropubic, perineal, or laparoscopic approach. Outcomes can be predicted using postoperative nomograms that consider pretreatment factors and the pathologic findings at surgery. PSA failure is defined as a value above 0.
