Large Hadron Collider

Medipix and Timepix type hybrid-pixel photon counting detectors were originally developed and intended as particle trackers at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Nevertheless, the applicability of Medipix technology is much broader and exceeds the field of high energy physics.

One-loop contributions to the decay process \(H \to Z*\gamma \to {v_e}{v_e} \gamma \) in standard model are performed in the paper "One-loop contributions to in standard model \(H \to Z*\gamma \to {v_e}{v_e} \gamma \)". The detailed computations are carried out in unitary gauge. In physical results, we present numerical results for partial decay width and its distribution. We find that the partial decay width is given to 0.466 KeV. This result is in the upper bound of the current experimental data at the Large Hadron Collider.

We present a study of the polarization observables of the W and Z bosons in the process pp → W±Z → e ±νeµ +µ − at the 13 TeV Large Hadron Collider. The calculation is performed at next-to-leading order, including the full QCD corrections as well as the electroweak corrections, the latter being calculated in the double-pole approximation. The results are presented in the helicity coordinate system adopted by ATLAS and for different inclusive cuts on the di-muon invariant mass.
