The aim of research: Determination of greywater characteristics from some buildings in Hanoi city; Explaination of the principle of removing the main pollutants out of greywater by using laterite with multi soil layering engineering; Determination of decomposition rate coefficients of BOD5, COD and NH4 + -N. The number of laterite layer is calculated based on these coefficients; Successful greywater treatment from building by using laterite with Multi Soil Layering engineering and the treated effluent meet up the National Regulations

Groundnut production depends on the genetic potential of the cultivar and the cultural practices to which the crop is subjected. There are several constraints in groundnut production viz. fertilizer, plant protection and weed management often pose serious problems. Therefore, present study was carried out to focus on such limiting factors individually or in combination which may cause more yield reduction under resource constraint. The study was formulated on lateritic soils of konkan at Agricultural Research Station, Shirgaon, Tal. Dist.

Iron toxicity and acidity are the major constraints in the laterite derived paddy soils of Kerala. More than 90 % of the midland lateritic rice soils in the northern part of Kerala are strongly acidic in reaction with pH values in the range of 4.5 to 5.5. The content of 0.1 N HCl extractable Fe in soil varied from 52.21 – 414.9 mg kg-1 and more than 50 % of the rice soils showed iron toxicity problem (> 250 mg kg-1 of available iron).

In India, viticulture is one of the most important horticultural industries in views of its area, production, productivity, value addition and employment creation in both rural and urban areas. The grape in West Bengal is now a new fruit crop for utilizing the up and medium fallow lands in western part of the state. In this part, the soil is red and laterite and acidic in nature and this area received very low rainfall and experience a long dry spell during month of January to May.
