An assessment of Livestock and poultry feed resource availability was done based on secondary data inNellore district of AndhraPradesh state. Among the large ruminants, buffalo population was highest compared to total cattle population. Sheep outnumbered goats with 3:1 ratio. The present study was conducted to record the incidence of chronic respiratory disease of layer and broiler birds in Ayodhya district of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The naturally dead birds from 10 different private farms in Ayodhya district of Eastern Uttar Pradesh was collected for 6 months (October, 2018 to March, 2019). After post-mortem examination, the grossly suspected samples (trachea, air sac and lung) were kept for further histopathological and immunohistochemical study.

These pest infestations are infrequent and typically limited to breeding flocks or layers. Broilers and market turkeys are seldom if ever affected. Management of ectoparasites largely consists of whole flock treatments whenever infestations are detected by scouting birds and/or inspection of the structure and equipment (nest boxes, curtains, slats, cages). Other effective management techniques are not available. It is estimated that slightly more than 4 percent of breeder birds and layers are treated for ectoparasites each year.
