Formamidinium bromide (FABr) was synthesized by slowly mixing formamidinium acetate powder with hydrobromic acid for synthesizing FAPbBr3. Photoluminescence (PL) of FAPbBr, has been studied, showing a PL peak at 562 nm. Spin-coating method was used to prepare FAPbBr3 thin films and FTO/FAPbBr/FTO sandwich structures. These structures exhibited green luminescence with a center wavelength at 545 nm. The emission centers were observed for single crystals of FAPbBr3 perovskite.

Ebook "Acetic acid bacteria: Fundamentals and food applications" written by leading international authorities in the field, covers all the basic and applied aspects of acetic acid bacteria. It describes the importance of acetic acid bacteria in food industry by giving information on the microbiological properties of fermented foods as well as production procedures. Special attention is given to vinegar and cocoa, which are the most familiar and extensively used industrial applications of acetic acid bacteria.

The molecular structure shows that the complex is a coordination polymer in which there are 2 different lead(II) ions with coordination number of 5, Pb(2), and, with a coordination number of 4, Pb(1). Each atrz acts as a bridging ligand between 2 Pb(II) ions through the 2 adjacent nitrogen atoms of the triazole ring. The acetate anions show different types of coordination mode: one acts as a bridge by coordination of the same oxygen atom with Pb(II) ions and the other as a monodentate coordination by one of the oxygen atoms with Pb(2).

The methanol extract of P. palatiferum (Nees) Radlk. leaves exhibited a moderate inhibitory effect on the L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA) oxidase activity of tyrosinase in the melanin biosynthesis pathway. Further study may lead to new bioactive compounds from ethyl acetate and n-hexane fractions.

Secretion of prostaglandin F2α at the time of maternal recognition of pregnancy leads to embryonic loss. Early embryonic losses are one of the important causes of repeat breeding which increases the calving interval and leads to economic losses to farmers. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs inhibit the synthesis of PGF2α. The present study was designed to study the effect of treatment by GnRH analogue - Buserelin acetate, Progesterone (P4) and Tolfenamic acid on 32 repeat-breeding crossbred cattle aged 3-8 years.

The present study was carried out on sixty Wistar rats divided into groups I, II, III, IV and V for a period of 28 days to study genotoxic effects induced by arsenic, lead and their mixture. The group I served as control while group II, III and IV were gavaged with sodium arsenite, lead acetate and mixture of both metals, respectively. The group V served as positive control which was treated with cyclophosphamide. Chromosomal aberration assay and micronuclei assay was studied from bone marrow cells of femur bone of all the rats.

Helicobacter pylori is one of the most common infectious bacteria in the world that causes gastric diseases leading to cancer. The increase of multiple antibiotic resistance rates of H. pylori have been reported worldwide. Thus, development of novel drugs is urgently required. Piper betle has many therapeutic values in traditional medicine. In this study, therefore, we investigated antibacterial activity of P. betle extracts and their fractions against a H. pylori strain isolated in Vietnam.

Stool is one of the most difficult laboratory samples to be handled especially for recovery of intestinal parasites. The preservation of stool parasites faces a lot of difficulties in laboratory and the use of powerful preservatives leads to a better result. This study describes the efficacy of three stool preservatives for the stool parasites and they are 10% formalin, low viscosity polyvinyl alcohol and sodium acetate acetic acid formalin and compare them using fresh stool which were positive for intestinal parasites.

The aim of the current study was to evaluate lead accumulation in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus and to take note of any consequent histo-architectural changes. The experiment involved a 12-month chronic exposure of 28 Wistar female rats at sexual maturity (221 ± 0.88 g/individual) to lead acetate in drinking water.

In human and animal organisms, lead can cause reproductive problems beginning with pregnant females. The reproductive axis is particularly sensitive to lead, its influence resulting in a delayed sexual maturity due to biosynthesis suppression of the sexual steroids.

The lupane triterpenoid lupeol is found in a variety of plants. Its biological activities have attracted a great deal of interests. A number of studies on the antiinflammatory, antimycobacterial, antimalarial and anticancer activities of this compound and its derivatives have been reported. Based on our knowledge, there have not been any reports on the antimicrobial activity of lupeol and its derivatives.
