Considering international interest in herbal medicine research on this underutilized plant as a source of bioactive chemicals was carried out with the objective of evaluating its potential antibiotic activities to make a diagnosis of the chemistry related to the plant extract of E. variegata in order to explore new and noble bioactive compounds (Srinivasan, et al., 2001).

Diagnosis and recommendation integrated system (DRIS) norms were computed from the data on leaf mineral composition, soil available nutrients, and corresponding mean fruit yield of three years (2016–2019), collected from the set of 50 irrigated commercial ‘Dashehari’ mango orchards, representing 2 locations and 3 basalt derived soil orders (Entisols, Inceptisols, and Vertisols) rich in smectite minerals.

A survey was conducted during 2017-18 to study the leaf nutrient norms using Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) for Byadgi chilli crop in three district of north Karnataka. A total of 175 locations were selected and index chilli leaf samples were collected at peak flowering stage. These samples were analysed for nutrients to establish the data bank. The whole population of study area was divided into low and high yielding categories taking chilli yield of 8.50 q/ha as cut off level.

But their safety assessment is a major concern. As body system reacts in a different way than isolated cell line than artificial environment, so in the present experiment pathomorphological assessment ofsub-acute dermal toxicity of green synthesized GNPs and coating with Morinda citrifolia fruit extract (McFE) was undertaken.

The present investigation aimed at evaluating the seasonality of macro-nutrients contents of pear trees during the agriculture year 2007. Therefore, leaf samples were collected at fortnightly intervals form 1st may to 1st October and evaluated for nutrients. In general concentration of N, P,K decreased and those of Ca, Mg, Fe, and Mn content increased from first to last sampling date while as no conspicuous trend was observed in Cu content of leaves. The distinct period of stability for N, Mg, Mn and Zn contents occurred from July 15- August 15.

Rubber is indigenous to South America. Many attempts to start a viable rubber industry in that region have met with failure because of the presence of SALB and the lack of a cost-effective management tools in that region. SALB spreads rapidly causing severe leaf fall and twig dieback. Chemical control that involves repeated fungicide applications to trees of great height has been found to be expensive and impractical.
