The study was conducted to determine the above and below ground biomass of Acacia hybrid (Acacia auriculiformis*Acacia mangium) of different diameter classes at La Nga Forestry Company Limited in Dong Nai. A typical standard tree survey method was used to measure fresh biomass, the study cut down 45 trees of different ages and diameters for measuring the fresh biomass with 4 parts including trunk, branches, leaves (above-ground biomass), and roots (below-ground biomass).

A field experiment was conducted at farming system research unit of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kandhamal as a part of ongoing effort to collect the data in connection to dry matter accumulation and partitioning in three cultivars of cow pea during growth and development stages in two consecutive summer and Kharif season of the year 2012-13 and 2013-14. Source and sink activity measured after anthesis in six poplar rice cultivars. The experiment was laid in randomized block design with six cultivars MTU-1001, MTU1010, MTU-7029, BPT-2231, BPT-3291 and BPT-5204 replicated four times. After anthesis, top three leaves separately, top three internodes collectively, panicle axis and grain of main culm were sampled at seven day interval and analysed for biochemical parameters that serve remobilization of nutrients. During the initial and later halves of the sampling, there was a shift in higher amylase activity from third to flag leaves.

An experiment was conducted on effect of different age of rootstocks on success of softwood grafting in tamarind. Higher percentage of graft success (70.39%), grafts survivability (70.95%), sprouting per cent (14.40%), minimum days taken for sprouting (12.52) and number of sprouts (7.23) were noticed in T7 (6 month old rootstocks). The maximum graft height (37.31 cm), graft diameter (7.92 mm), length of sprouts (19.02 cm) and number of leaves (41.35) were noticed in T7.
