Early detection of infertile and non-hatchable eggs benefits hatcheries by saving space, reducing costs, and preventing contamination from spoiled eggs. An automated system has been developed to detect and mark non-hatchable eggs efficiently. The system includes a conveyor that moves trays of 100 eggs through a high-power LED light assembly.

The aim of this study was to design and characterize a NdFeO3-based photocatalyst prepared by sol-gel method for treatment of oily wastewater. Different characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV–vis spectrophometer were used to elucidate the structure, morphology, surface functional groups, and optical absorption properties of the prepared NdFeO3 photocatalyst.

Uniform and magnetic recyclable hollowsphere Zn doped Fe3O4 were successfully synthesized via simple one-pot solvothermal route. Morphology and structure of as-obtained products was characterized by XRD, SEM, HRTEM methods. The Zn-doped Fe3O4 hollowsphere exhibited high photocatalytic activity for degradation of hexavalent chromium under visible light irradiation.

The Mn-doped MoS2 (Mn-MoS2) material is fabricated by a facile onestep calcination method. The Mn2+ content introduced into MoS2 is ranged from 1 wt% to 7 wt%. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy SEM results suggest that the doping of Mn2+ does not alter the crystal structure and the morphology of MoS2.
