Livestock sector followed

The study revealed that majority of livestock farmers had favourable attitude (73.33%) towards dissemination of information through different ICT tools in livestock sector followed by 15.83 per cent with more favourable attitude and 10.83 per cent with less favourable attitude. Age, family size, land holding, herd size, extension contact and social participation had positive and non-significant relationship with attitude of livestock farmers towards ICTs, while experience in livestock farming had negative and non-significant relationship.

The technological advancements have enabled the textile materials find their irreplaceable use in areas like agriculture, horticulture, livestock and fishery. The two sections that follow describe (respectively) livestock production and marketing systems. The methodology of the paper is discussed in Section V. This is followed in Section VI by a close look at the Idara-e-Kissan cooperative, its institutional model, and its operations. Economic analysis of returns on milk production of IK members and a control group of non-members is presented in the next section.
