The study aimed to determine factors affecting the decisions of individuals to deposit in their accounts at the VietinBank branch in An Giang Province. In this study, a questionnaire was prepared and used to investigate 250 individuals who have or have not done transactions at the An Giang branch of VietinBank. The estimated results derived from the Probit model showed that the deposit decision is largely governed by the deposit interest rate, quality of customer services, business location, promotion, and individual’s level of education, age and income.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the performance of companies in the slaughterhouse industry in health and safety issues. The research method is quantitative modeling. The main research technique uses a mixed method based on multi-attribute utility method (MAUT) and artificial neural networks (ANN). The research object is 34 slaughterhouse companies located in Southern Brazil. Then, we ranked the companies and modeled their decision trees using the MAUT method.

The objective of this study was to select the suitable warehouse location, which is the focus for business organisations that buy, produce, and store the agricultural products of grass flowers, by using the Multiple Criteria Decision Making theory (MCDM). The research case studies took place in 26 countries, and the most prominent GIS software provider was Esri’s ArcGIS. The findings of the first literature review of the GIS applications in SCM showed that many business industries have not utilised the GIS capabilities, such as visualisation, spatial analysis, optimisation, and site research. However, GIS can significantly contribute to SCM decision making by providing answers to cost minimisation, supplier selection, facility location, SC network configuration and asset management.
