Bài viết tiến hành thu các mẫu gốc lông của bò để tách chiết DNA tổng số. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm tối ưu hoá các điều kiện PCR trong khuếch đại đoạn gen LEP và TG5 với DNA tổng số từ gốc lông bò.

In tropical countries, a huge drain in profitability of animal production sector is attributed to tick and tick- borne diseases (TTBD). Traditional tick control measures are riddled by development of acaricide resistance in ticks and possibility of environmental pollution. Identifying and propagating naturally resistant breeds of cattle in endemic regions is a more efficient method in the long run. Marker assisted selection (MAS) which applies genomic information along with conventional selection in cattle breeding is a probable solution.

Trong nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi đã tối ưu hóa quy trình chuyển gen hiệu quả vào cây dưa hấu của Việt Nam thông qua vi khuẩn Agrobacterium tumefaciens. Chủng vi khuẩn CV58 mang vector nhị phân pCB-gusplus chứa gen chọn lọc kháng kanamycin nptII (neomycin Phosphotransferase) và gen chỉ thị Gus-intron (-Glucuronidase) được dùng để chuẩn hóa. Vật liệu chuyển gen là các mảnh lá mầm 5- 7 ngày tuổi được nhiễm với vi khuẩn ở nồng độ OD600 0,7 trong 30 phút.

The intestinal fatty acid-binding protein (I-FABP) shows binding specificity for long-chain fatty acids and is proposed to be involved in uptake of dietary fatty acids and their intracellular transport. We have determined the sequence of the gene encoding I-FABP in zebrafish. The zebrafish I-FABP gene contains four exons interrupted by three introns. Radiation hybrid mapping assigned the I-FABP gene to linkage group 1. A 924 bp sequence 5Vupstream of the initiation codon in the I-FABP gene contained several putative cis-acting regulatory elements.

In the present study, we report the distribution and sequence features of recombi-nogenic long inverted repeats (LIRs) that are capable of forming stable stem-loops or palindromes within the human genome.

The most frequent chromosomal abnormality in CLL is deletion of 13q14, being monoallelic in 76% of cases, and biallelic in 24% [13, 14, 24]. This deletion, also detected in MBL [11] occurs at a much lower frequency in multiple myeloma, DLBCL, mature T-cell lymphomas, and in several solid tumors [25-29]. A minimal deleted region (MDR) has been defined in a large number of CLL cases with monoallelic 13q14 deletion. This region contains the long non-coding RNA deleted in leukemia (DLEU)-2, and the first exon of the DLEU1 gene [30, 31].
