  • It was found that rGO were exfoliated and decorated homogeneously with CNF nanoparticles having diameters of 20 nm. The saturated magnetization (Ms) value was estimated to be 60 emu/g, remanences (Mr) and coercive forces (Hc) near to zero, indicating that obtained material is superparamagnetic. The pH effect, contact time and adsorption isotherms were examined in batch experiments. The adsorption isotherm agreed well with the Langmuir model, having a maximum adsorption capacity of 256 mg/g, at pH = 6, T = 298 K.

  • Researching on Methyllen Blue dye treatment ability with Nano material (CoFe2O4 synthesized by co-precipitation method) combined with Biogum (extracted from Osaka Seeds (Cassia Fistula Linn). Research results show that with Biogum base material fully covered by magnetic nanoparticles of size 70-95 nm (SEM) and the presence of several specific functional groups for biogum and ferromagnetic oxide nano (FT-IR). When adding OH group to nano material, the adhestive ability to biogum and the size of the particle does not change.

  • The structural and magnetic properties of Fe/Fe3O4 nanocomposites, synthesized by combined high energy ball milling and controlled oxidation, have been studied. An X-ray diffraction analysis of the crystal structure of the nanocomposites confirmed the coexistence of Fe and Fe3O4 phases. An increase of the oxygen concentration during oxidation process led to the formation of a higher fraction of the Fe3O4 phase with good crystallinity and stoichiometry.

  • The present study focused on the use of the magnetic nanocomposite NiFe2 O4 /GO (GO - Graphene oxide) as an efficient adsorbent for the removal of congo red (CR). The NiFe2 O4 /GO was synthesized from NiFe2 O4 and GO via a facile route, and the structure of this nanocomposite was analyzed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). By applying the response surface methodology, the profound relationship was found between variables (initial concentration, adsorbent dosage, and pH) and CR removal efficiency.

  • Nanobiotechnology is an emerging field of science that utilizes nanobased systems for various biotechnological and biomedical applications. The synthesis of metal and metal oxide nanoparticles has attracted considerable attention, as they have high surface area and high fraction of atoms which is responsible for their fascinating properties such as antimicrobial, magnetic, electronic and catalytic activity. The antibacterial activities of TiO2 nanoparticles were studied in Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
