Main commercial agricultural products

This article describes the authors’ vision of the state of digitalization in the agro-industrial complex of Russia, the problems that exist, areas of improvement, risks and threats that authorities and commercial organizations will face when implementing digital technologies. Based on world practice, the study provides data indicating the positive role of digital technologies: increasing the profitability of production, saving costs, increasing production indicators.

Agriculture in Vietnam is on a long and continuing transition from subsistence livelihood activities to commercial agriculture. The extent of the commerciality can be measured in regard to both inputs and outputs. Data from the North Central Coast of Vietnam indicates high commerciality for rubber, production forestry, cassava, beef, and dairy.

Heat stress due to prolonged high ambient temperature during critical growth stages is a serious threat to crop production worldwide. Though being a C4 crop, maize has relatively wider adaptation, however, weather extremes such as heat stress is challenging its threshold limits. There is an absolute requirement of heat tolerant cultivars in the present condition as climate change has a become reality.
