Maintenance in production systems

In order to define main maintenance logistics management problems we conducted a structured survey study in the Moroccan industrial context. The study presents results based on 152 surveys responses from 281 surveys addressed to different industrial production systems.

This paper proposes a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model aiming to optimize the topology of transmission networks considering power loss. The proposed MILP model is converted from the MINLP model using the piecewise linearization technique and precisely linearizing the product of the binary and continuous variables. The objective function of the TNEP problem in this study is to minimize the total cost of the power system, including the investment cost for new transmission lines, maintenance cost, cost related to energy losses loss, and production cost of generators.

Soil quality assessment is of paramount importance to know the appropriate management practices to be adopted for sustainable crop production. Sustainability of intensive agriculture system is intimately linked to maintenance of soil health. Present study was undertaken to investigate the impact of intensive cultivation on soil health under polyhouses located in Bilaspur, Solan and Sirmaur districts of Himachal Pradesh.
