Major cities of Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is known as the economic leader of Vietnam. This city also makes a major contribution to Vietnam’s state budget revenue. The reality of the socio-economic development of HCMC reveals that the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) sector has made important and effective contributions in terms of exports, state budget revenue, job creation and income.

Boredom can pose many negative impacts on students' academic performance as well as their quality of life. This study investigated the prevalence of academic boredom among English majors at Nong Lam University and its contributing factors using a quantitative research method.

The present study examined the strategies used by English major students to cope with boredom at Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A total of 427 students from 7 batches (2016-2022) participated in the study. The data from a questionnaire was collected and analyzed through SPSS version 22.0.

Under-nutrition is still a major contributor to disease and poor growth in vulnerable populations. Prolonged undernutrition affects physical health, mental and social development of children and exacts a heavy cost to their families and society at large. To describe prevalence of picky eaters and nutritional status of children aged 1 to 5 and to find out the relationship between picky eating and nutritional status of children.

This study was conducted at some universities in Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. The objectives aimed at finding out the similarities and differences in teachers’ and students’ beliefs about classroom interactions in large non-English majored classes and how teachers’ and students’ beliefs about classroom interactions corresponded to their actual practice. Data were collected from questionnaires for 100 teachers teaching English to non-English majors and 100 students. Besides, semi-structured interviews were conducted with representative teachers and students from both groups.

The dissertation has discovered and contributed empirical evidence on the relationship of concepts in the research model in Vietnam market through a survey of 917 online shopping customers in five provinces and cities with the High e-commerce index as reported by the Vietnam E-Commerce Association, including four major cities (Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City) and Binh Duong Province.
