The present study was conducted in Rewari and Khol block of Rewari district Haryana, with the objective to know the socio-economic status of SHG members. The data on socioeconomic variables were collected from 90 respondents drawn from 30 SHGs. The study revealed that almost all the members were land less and found to belong to middle age group (35-46 years), married, practicing dairy as major occupation, small herd size and belonging to low income group.

Nano-adsorbents have gained special attention in water pollution mitigation in India since last decade. Two vital properties make nanoparticles highly lucrative as adsorbents. On a mass basis, nano-particles have much larger surface areas compared to macro particles. They can also be enhanced with various reactor groups to increase their chemical affinity towards target compounds. Nano-adsorption techniques are now widely used to remove cations, natural organic matter, biological contaminants, inorganic pollutants, nitrates and arsenic from groundwater, surface water and industrial effluents.

The behaviour of Para-veterinarians (Paravets) regarding the antibiotic prescription and use were focussed in the study. The awareness of paravets regarding antibiotic resistance was measured using an Index developed for this study. The study revealed that paravets were having general awareness about antibiotic resistance but were not aware that it had spread throughout the geographical area.

Indian Robusta Coffee has made a slot for itself in the world market, particularly for its decent blend up quality. In India production of Robusta is more i.e. around 62–65%. Indian coffee prices are often random as they are largely inclined on production, demand of coffee in domestic and world level forces, etc. In this study Hybrid ARIMA-ANN models was compared with ARIMA and ANN model to evaluate the past behaviour of a time series data, in order to make inferences about its future behaviour for Robusta species of Indian coffee.
