Managerial problems of each household are different and it does not have readymade answer. Hence the women in India have to struggle in utilizing her managerial skill in managing the family resources. All women are not born with managerial skills and have to learn through observation and training. The present investigation was carried out in four villages i.e. Nandkheda, Brahmangaon, Sayala and Lohagaon of Marathwada region. A total sample of 100 women 25 each from four villages were selected randomly.

Hence the present study was conducted in the Nanded district of Marathwada region. There are sixteen Talukas in Nanded district. Out of which, four talukas were chosen purposively. Nanded district consists of 20 dairy cooperative societies out of which 4 dairy co-operative societies were selected purposively. From each dairy co-operative society three villages were selected and each village ten members were selected.

Present study deals with the constraints faced by the staff of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) during their job in Marathwada. Study was conducted in all 12 KVKs functioning in Marathwada region of Maharashtra State, which includes 4 KVKs under the administrative control of VNMKV, Parbhani and remaining 8 KVKs run by NGOs. The present investigation was aimed to identify the resistant germplasms against Colletotrichum capsici in vitro by artificial inoculation. Ten isolates of Colletotrichum capsici collected from different regions of Vidarbha and Marathwada (Maharashtra), Bidar district (Karnataka) and Guntur district (Andra Pradesh) showing varied type of pathogenic ability against chilli variety Jayanti and designated as strongly, moderately and weakly pathogenic on the basis of per cent leaf area covered by the disease.

Nigrospora sphaerica (Sacc.) Mason. found to infect leaves of Cajanus cajan L. in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India is a new host record. Symptoms on leaves appeared in the form of semi circular to irregular, grey to black coloured spots. Based on morphological, cultural and molecular study. The fungus isolated was identified as Nigrospora sphaerica Mason. Pathogenecity test of the fungus was confirmed as per Koch's postulates.

Red Kandhari is one of the important breed of Marathwada region of Maharashtra State. The body measurements and body weight of Red Kandhari bullocks at more than 36 month of age were studied at different locations in the breeding tract. The body measurements play an important role in judging bullocks and often help in predicting probable value of the animals. The chest girth, body length and height are indicative of development of various body cavities, thus giving sufficient idea about development of vital organs.

Cultural and genetic diversity of Rhizoctonia bataticola causing dry root of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) crop were studied during 2018-19 at VNMKV, Parbhani. In present studies, isolate Rb-6 , exhibited maximum mycelial growth of (90.00mm), followed by Rb-9 (89.50mm) and Rb-2 (88.50mm) indicated a great cultural variability amongst R. bataticola isolates, whereas, in case of genetic variability when a dendrogram generated based on UPGMA analysis of RAPD data grouped all of the 9 test isolates (R. bataticola) into two major clusters. Sorghum bicolor is most important cereal crops around the world where the availability of water is less. Study of genetic variability among the sorghum accessions will enable accurate results in breeding programme and in mapping studies. By using SSR markers evenly distributed on sorghum genome revealed that, all the 20 accessions originated from Marathwada (Maharashtra) region were grouped into three main classes and it show correlation with the biological status and other characteristics features of accessions.

The present study was conducted mainly with the objective to study the relationship between personal profile and management orientation of gerbera growers. For the study, Osmanabad, Nanded and Latur district was selected purposively from Marathwada region. As regard with all independent variables viz., age, education, experience in gerbera cultivation, land holding, area under gerbera, annual income, extension contact, mass media exposure, risk orientation, innovativeness and economic motivation had positive and highly significant relationship with their management orientation.
