  • The present study was conducted to investigate the profile characteristics of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) beneficiaries of district Jabalpur (M.P.). One hundred and twenty beneficiaries from Majholi and Jabalpur blocks were selected on the basis of availability of highest beneficiaries of the PMKSY scheme. The study revealed that higher percentage of PMKSY beneficiaries were middle aged, educated up to high school, had medium size of land holding.   • A study on Socio economic profile of the grape growers in district Ganderbal was carried out during 2017-18. By proportionate allocation method, 120 respondents were selected from 6 villages of Lar block. The data was elicited through personal interview method. The findings of this study revealed that the majority of the respondents were found illiterate in middle age group with annual income of Rs 2 lakh and land holding up to 10 kanals (1 kanal = 1/20th hectare).

  • The present study was conducted in Adilabad district of Telangana to study the profile and employment generation of tribal farmers. Total 120 respondents were randomly selected for the study and interviewed. Most of the (44.10 %) respondents belonged to medium category followed by low (39.20%) and high (16.70%) income generation. The results of the investigation it was found that farm size, training received, credit orientation, achievement motivation, social support, extension contact and mass media exposure had a positive and significant correlation with the income generation.

They were subjected to interview schedule to study their knowledge and practices being adopted to control aflatoxin in the dairy rations.   • The present investigation was carried out in two blocks of Nabarangpur district of Odisha. 120 respondents were selected randomly having minimum 10 numbers of goats with 5 years of experience in goat rearing. The overall mean score (34.43) of economic impact showed a positive sign for the economic prosperity. The study revealed that 69% of the respondents had medium level of economic impact due to goat farming followed by 18% and 13% respondents with high level and low level of economic impacts respectively.

  • In this study, the effects of elicitors on the growth and bioactive ingredients of Panax vietnamensis cell mass are evaluated. The medium composition was fixed with a MS liquid medium supplemented with 6.42 mg/ml NAA, kinetin of 0.11 mg/l, saccharose of 34.3 g/l, a pH of 5.6-5.8, temperature of 24-26o C, conducted at 50 rpm, and culture time of 14 days. The results showed that the best elicitor is jasmonic acid, at a concentration of 100 µmol/l, and for an optimal exposure of the bioactive ingredients to jasmonic acid for 12 days and 14 days after starting the culture.
