Movies are a primary source of entertainment, but finding specific content can be challenging given the exponentially increasing number of movies produced each year. Recommendation systems are extremely useful for solving this problem. While various approaches exist, Collaborative Filtering (CF) is the most straightforward.

MDS (maximum distance separable) matrices are ones that come from MDS codes that have been studied for a long time in error correcting code theory and have many applications in block ciphers. To improve the security of block ciphers, dynamic block ciphers can be created. Using MDS matrix transformations is a method used to make block ciphers dynamic.

In paper "Mixture of Erlang and exponential approximation for ultimate ruin probability", we investigate the mixture of Erlang and exponential approximation based on the first three moments and the matrix-exponential representation of mixed Erlang and exponential functions. Besides, a number of numerical examples are given to illustrate the quick convergence of the method in the cases of the first three moments of uniform distribution on . Moreover to illustrate this method, a numerical example is given with different initial reserves of insurance company.

This paper "Delay-Dependent Exponential Stability of Linear Systems with Fast Time-Varying Delay" presents new exponential stability conditions for a class of linear systems with time-varying delay. Unlike the previous works, the delay function considered in this paper is time-varying without any requirement on the derivative, which means that a fast time-varying delay is allowed.

The paper "Global exponential stability of switched neutral systems with time-varying delays" deals with the problem of global exponential stability for a class of switched neutral systems with time-varying delays. Based on improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method combined with the Leibniz-Newton formula, linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) conditions are proposed for the exponential stability of the considered systems under arbitrary switching signal. A numerical example showing the effectiveness of our conditions is given.

This paper presents a new result on delay-dependent exponential stability for nonlinear linear systems with interval time-varying delay. By constructing a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combined with Wirtinger-based integral inequality, a new delay-dependent condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) which guarantees that the system is exponential stability.

By constructing a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combined with Newton-Leibniz formula, a new delay-dependent condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which guarantees that the system is regular, impulse-free and exponentially stability.

This paper deals with the problem of exponential stability of two-dimensional (2D) discrete-time systems with mixed directional time-varying delays. By constructing an improved 2D Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidate some new delay-dependent condition for the exponential stability of the system are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

In this paper, the problem of exponential stability for a class of nonlinear neutral systems with interval time-varying delay is studied. Based on improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combine with Leibniz-Newton’s formula, new delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of the systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which allows to compute the maximal bound of the exponential stability rate of the solution.

The ultimate stability of nonlinear time-varying systems with multiple delays and bounded disturbances are investigated in this paper. Based on some comparison techniques via differential inequalities, explicit delay-independent conditions are derived for determining an ultimate bound such that all state trajectories of the system converge exponentially within that bound. The obtained results also guarantee exponential stability of the system when the input disturbance vector is ignored. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

The burnup equation of nuclides is one of the most equations in nuclear reactor physics, which is generally coupled with transport calculations. The burnup equation describes the variation of the nuclides with time. Because of its very stiffness and the need for large time step, this equation is solved by special methods, for example transmutation trajectory analysis (TTA) or the matrix exponential methods where the matrix exponential is approximated by CRAM.
