The study conclude that majority of the respondents belonged to young age group and had high school level of education. Majority of the respondents had pucca house with land holding up to 1 ha. And high level of farming experience. Majority of the respondents had low family annual income. Majority of the respondents had medium extension participation, scientific orientation and innovativeness with medium risk orientation towards Sardar Smruti Kendra.

This study was conducted in Karwi block of Chitrakoot district by conducting personal interview with 100 respondents which were selected through random sampling technique. There were 65 percent respondents found in middle age group and observed to be literate (67%), belonging to backward caste (70%), residing in nuclear families (63%). The maximum respondents (63 %) were having small farmers land holding and agriculture was observed as main occupations (88%). The 55 per cent respondents were found such who had family annual income Rs. 26001-79000.

The present study was conducted in 12 Raitha Samparka Kendras (RSKs) of Tumukuru district of Karnataka state during 2017-2018 to know the extent of participation of farmers in agricultural extension activities of RSKs. One hundred twenty farmers who availed agricultural extension services of RSKs were interviewed using a pre-tested interview schedule. The results revealed that a vast majority of farmers had ‘contacted’ the agricultural extension functionaries in RSKs through mobile (85.00%) and landline phone (81.66%).

The present investigation was done to study the profile characteristics of rice farmers in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. Ex-post facto research design was followed for the study and a sample of 120 respondents was drawn. Farm innovators plays a vital role in innovation development and they supplement formal research, since these innovators develop cost effective, eco-friendly and easy to adopt technologies. Farmers develop the appropriate technologies/innovations to ease their work and which are suitable for their local conditions. A study was conducted to study constraints faced by the farm innovators. The study has been conducted during the year 2016-17 in seven districts of southern Karnataka. Among these districts, 36 farm innovators were identified for the study.

The study was conducted during the year 2017-18 in Tumkur district of Karnataka state to measure the entrepreneurial behaviour of flower growers. In Tumkur district, Madhugiri taluk was purposefully selected for the study, since it is dominated with the major flower growing areas. Four villages of Madhugiri taluk were considered for the research purpose and forty chrysanthemum, forty jasmine and forty crossandra growers were selected randomly from each of the village.
