Mesoporous zeolite

In this study, experimental results on mesoporous zeolite preparation from a common solid waste, the rice husk ash by a top-down and bottom-up approach were reported. In top-down method, the consecutive treatments of zeolite by acid and alkaline in the presence of a cationic surfactant (CTAB) successfully generated mesopores in the zeolite.

Nghiên cứu này tập trung sử dụng cacboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), một dẫn xuất của xenluloza, làm chất tạo mao quản cho quá trình tổng hợp xúc tác ZSM-5 mao quản trung bình (mesopores). Vật liệu xúc sau khi tổng hợp được sẽ được ứng dụng cho phản ứng sắp xếp lại epoxide, một trong những phản ứng hóa học quan trọng.

he catalytic dehydration of ethanol is a potential alternative route to synthesize ethylene apart from the traditional method which depends on fossil fuels. This report successfully prepared modified ZSM-5 with mesopores using desilication methods to enhance ethanol catalytic dehydration performance and ethylene production at lower temperature.

Zeolite seed-based mesoporous aluminosilicate material MSU-S is normally synthesized from pure chemicals. In the study, MSU-S material was synthesized using natural resources such as rice husk, and kaolin in Vietnam. Here, a systematic investigation is conducted to find the relationship between the synthesis conditions (aging time, hydrothermal time, hydrothermal temperature, pH environment) and the formation of mesoporous structure, as well as the material properties.
