Method of preparation on yield

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of land preparation methods and iron-coated (Fe-coated) rice seeds on the growth, yield, and Fe uptake of rice in alluvial soils in the Mekong Delta region. The experiment was conducted in the 2020 summerautumn cropping season under the triple rice cultivation system in Chau Thanh district, An Giang province.

We reported a facile one-pot synthesis of bimetallic CoCu nanoparticles (NPs) anchored on graphene hydrogel (GH-CoCu) as catalysts in hydrogen generation from the hydrolysis of ammonia borane (HAB). The presented novel one-pot method composed of the reduction of the mixture of graphene oxide, cobalt(II), and copper(II) acetate tetrahydrates by aqueous ethylene glycol solution in a teflon-coated stainless-steel reactor at 180 °C. The structure of the yielded GH-CoCu nanocatalysts was characterized by TEM, SEM, XRD, XPS, and ICP-MS.

A fast and efficient method for the synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimidinones derivatives in excellent yields was developed through cyclocondensation reaction between previously prepared pyrimidinic hydrazides and some electrophilic species such as 2,4-pentanedione, 2,5-hexanedione, cyclic anhydrides, and phenylthioisocyanate under microwave irradiation. Compared to the conventional methods applied, it was found that better yields and shorter reaction times were achieved using microwave-assisted synthesis.

Tanacetum mucroniferum Hub.-Mor. & Grierson was collected from Sakaltutan in Erzincan Province of Turkey. Comparative phytochemical investigation was carried out on the ethyl acetate and methanol extracts of the plant. The secondary metabolites were isolated and purified by chromatographic methods such as column chromatography, medium pressure liquid chromatography, high-performance thin-layer chromatography, and preparative thin-layer chromatography.

A new heterogeneous acid catalyst based on a natural resource, Tunisian clay (Clay-H0.5), has been prepared and characterized by FT-IR, FE-SEM, and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), as well as chemical composition, cation exchange capacity, specific surface area, and pore volume. Acid treatment for 0.5 h enlarged the surface area from 78.24 to 186.10 m2/g and pore volume (PV) from 0.186 to 0.281 cm3/g. The catalytic activity of this material was investigated in ketalization reaction under mild solvent-free conditions. This achieved up to 92% isolated yield for only 10 wt.% of the catalyst.

The synthesis of Graphene is critical to achieving its functions in practical applications. Different methods have been used to synthesis graphene, but graphite exfoliation is considered the simplest way to produce graphene and graphene oxide. In general, controlling the synthesis conditions to achieving the optimum yield, keeping the pristine structure to realize on-demand properties, minimum layers with the smallest lateral size, and minimum oxygen content are the most obstacles experienced by researchers.

High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) is an important marker of inflammation to predict the risk of CVDs. Existing reagent system for the detection of hs CRP has its limitation such as higher cost and requirement of sophisticated instruments, which minimize the utility of this effective marker utility in Indian population. The study was aimed to formulate and validate an improved reagent system for the detection of hs CRP. The study was targeted to formulate a latex-enhanced reagent format by selecting inert microscopic latex particles.

This study was undertaken to determine the ecological potentials of beekeeping in MayoBelwa local Government Area of Adamawa state. Following the randomly selection of two districts based on the existing forest reserves in the local government area, the inventory of plant resources at both woody and herbaceous layer were made to prepare the list of plant resources utilized by honeybees, determine density of both tree and shrub species as well as estimate the cover of herbaceous plant species in the study area.
