Wharton’s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells are highly homogeneous cells population, easily expanded, especially they can bring potential applications. However, their yield depends on the method of cells extraction conducted. Our research includes two purposes: 1/Procedure for isolating and differentiating mesenchymal stem cells from Wharton’s jelly, 2/Determining the main features of mesenchymal stem cells isolated from Wharton’s jelly.

Drug resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) remains a global health problem. The diagnosis, treatment, and management of DR-TB are the major challenges to Vietnam National Tuberculosis Control Program. One of the most important solutions for overcoming this problem is developing reliable and low-cost methods, which have been proposed to Drug Susceptibility Testing (DST) to detect drug resistant tuberculosis.

This aim of this study is to measure the technical efficiency score and identify the factors that affect the technical efficiency in plastic manufacturing firm in Malaysia for the year 2015 using the two stage Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The first stage involves calculating the efficiency score through the DEA using firm-level data, provided by the Department of Statistics, Malaysia. In the second stage, Tobit Regression Analysis was used to identify the significant factors affecting the efficiency of the plastic industry.

The hazard identification is done using a crash risk probability model and based on the identification, mitigation strategy is employed to reduce the effect of the hazard.
