In this study, a TiO2-CeO2 heterostructure was synthesized using a cost-effective hydrothermal technique, suitable for continuous industrial-scale production and environmental remediation applications. The photocatalytic activity of the TiO2-CeO2 heterostructure was examined with MB dye under visible light irradiation. Significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity was observed compared to pure TiO2 nanoparticles.

This article, we present a thorough and straightforward hydrothermal method towards the production of reduced graphene oxide templated MIL-53(Fe) hybrids RGO@MIL-53(Fe). The structural characteristics of created hybrids were identified by using BET, FESEM, powder X-ray diffraction, and FTIR techniques. Methylene blue (MB) dye (a model water pollutant) was used to evaluate H2O2-assisted photo-catalytic efficiency of RGO@MIL-53(Fe).

Additionally, factors like pH, the amount of dye, the amount of the substance under study, and the brightness of the light were examined for their impact on the reaction rate. The efficiency of the reaction in using light was calculated. Finally, a possible explanation of how the reaction works was formulated in the proposed mechanism.

The advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) were commonly used in textile dyeing wastewater treatment due to its ability to rapidly degrade dyed compounds. However, its disadvantage is the limited dispersion of ozone in wastewater. To minimize the disadvantage, it is necessary to improve the gas-liquid phase contact to maximize the dispersion of ozone in the wastewater body.

In this work, a functional nanocomposite consisting of silver nanoparticles and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-Ag) was successfully synthesized using a two-step chemical process. The MWCNTsAg nanocomposite has been studied as a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensing platform for detection of methylene blue (MB) dye in an aqueous medium.

The ZnO/activated carbon nanocomposites are a potential adsorbent for treating polluted water. The effect of the mass ratio of molten ZnCl2 and rice husks, pyrolysis temperature on the characteristics and methylene blue (MB) adsorption capacity were charaterized. The adsorption isotherm and kinetics of the organic dye MB on the prepared ZnO/activated carbon were also thoroughly investigated.

Waste from Jackfruit has little economic value and often causes serious environmental problems. The conversion of jackfruit waste will help reduce waste treatment costs, provide a potential source of raw materials for the activated carbon (AC) and increase economic value. In this study, the ACs from the Jackfruit shell and pulp were synthesized by microwave assistance for removing organic dyes.

In this study, activated carbon prepared from Acacia crassicarpa bark was prepared and studied for the potential development of low-cost, carbon-based adsorbents that remove industrial dyes from aqueous solutions. Various spectroscopy techniques and surface analyses were used to characterize the adsorbents.

The synthesis of fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs) and their applications have attracted great attention due to their excellent properties. Especially, the unique visible-light absorption and photo-induced electron transfer properties make CQDs available in photocatalytic degradation of organic dye pollutants in water resources. Herein, we synthesized nondoped CQDs and boron-doped CQDs (B-CQDs) by hydrothermal method and compared their photocatalytic degradation activity of methylene blue (MB) and methyl red (MR) dyes under visible light irradiation.

It is essential mean to adsorptive remove organic pollutants such dyestuff for water remediation. Herein in situ modification of the classic metal-organic framework ZIF-67 with –SO3 groups was easily achieved by the efficient adsorption of multi-sulfonated dyes due to the coordinative interaction between the unoccupied Co(II) of ZIF-67 and –SO3 of the dyes.

Posterior parasagittal in-plane ultrasoundguided infraclavicular brachial plexus block–a case series
The brachial plexus at the infraclavicular level runs deeper compared to its course proximally, giving rise to impaired needle visualisation due to the steep angle of needle insertion with the current ultrasound-guided approach.

Our filter may be of particular importance to those working in low middle-income countries unable to compete with stronger economies. Our design relies on products available outside the healthcare supply chain, much of which can be purchased in grocery stores, hardware stores, or industrial and academic institutions.

A novel green approach for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using erythromycin as a reducing/capping agent is presented. Erythromycin-derived silver nanoparticles were characterized by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Monodispersed silver nanoparticles showed excellent and promising catalytic activity for reduction of 3 differently charged dyes (eosin B, methylene blue, and rose bengal) in the presence of NaBH4.

The spectroscopic studies reveal that the GO–Fe 3 O4 nanocomposite is a highly efficient adsorbent for MB removal from aqueous solution, providing an adsorption capacity of 172.6 mg/g, and the equilibrium for MB adsorption is attained in ∼70 min. Moreover, it is a magnetically separable and reusable material for MB removal from water, preserving 87% of its initial efficiency after 5 successive runs.

Polyacrylamide–montmorillonite (PAAm-Mt) and polyacrylamide–clinoptilolite (PAAm-Z) composites were prepared by cross-linked polymerization of acrylamide in dispersions of Mt and Z. The composites were characterized by FT-IR, SEM, XRD, CEC, and PZC analysis. The adsorptive features of PAAm-Mt and PAAm-Z for methylene blue (MB) were investigated by their relevance to initial dye concentration, temperature, contact time, PZC, and pH.

Titanium dioxide/phthalocyanine (TiO2/Pc), TiO2/fluor containing phthalocyanine (TiO2/FPc), and TiO2/fluor containing cobalt phthalocyanine (TiO2/FCoPc) had been successfully fabricated by a simple combination of phthalocyanines obtained by insitu synthesis on the surface of TiO2 nanofibers prepared by electrospinning. Scanning electron microscopy micrographs and X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that the phthalocyanines uniformly immobilized on the surface of TiO2 nanofibers.
