  • Experiment on effect of foliar application of micronutrients (Zn, Fe, B, Mn and Cu) on mandarin orange leaf micro nutrient status was carried out during 2015-16 at lower pulney hills of Tamilnadu, India. The results showed that foliar application of micronutrient alone significantly increased the individual micronutrient content and micronutrients in combination compare to control. Therefore application of micronutrients as foliar spray reduces incidence of deficiency calamities, in turn flourishes the growth and yield attributes subsequently.

  • Field experiment was conducted during 2011-2015 at Sisal Research Station (22.041°N, 84.295°E, 267 m above mean sea level, AMSL), Bamra, Odisha, India to study the effect of drip-irrigation and micronutrients (Zn and B) on growth, fibre yield, water use efficiency, nutrient and micronutrient content in sisal (Agave sisalana Perr. Ex Engelm.). It was observed that interaction of drip-irrigation @ 4 l/hr for 2 hrs at 2 weeks interval during 14-23 standard meteorological week (SMW) x micronutrients (zinc sulphate @ 20 kg + borax 15 kg/ha) produced the longest leaf (97.2.

  • The flowering characteristics, fruit set and fruit drop had a positive effect with the various doses of nitrogen and boron. The boron applied @ 50g/plant took minimum days for flowering (81.64 days), maximum fruit set (74.67 %), minimum fruit drop (35.05 %) and days for harvesting (98.86 days). The flowering to harvesting is decreased by 17 days with application of boron @ 50g/plant.

  • A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the possible effect of some micro nutrients with different concentration levels as a foliar application on the vegetative growth, quality and yield of F1 hybrid tomato “Shivaji Gold”. The experiment was conducted at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Punjab India during 2018. The field experiment was laid in a randomized block design with three replications comparing eleven treatments involving different dose of micronutrients i.e. Boron, Iron, Zinc and absolute control to study the yield and quality parameters following of the experiment.
