Microscopic soil fungi
-
Soil microscopic fungi are always present in all biological communities and they are also one of the key elements in detrital food web, providing a circulation of nutrients. They grow on all possible substrates and play important role in the decay of organic matter.

Fungi are the one of the key components of ecosystems. Despite the fact that they are always present in all habitats on any substrates, it is not always possible to observe them directly in nature. This is due to their relatively poor knowledge, especially in tropical forest ecosystems.

Mycoflora population from soil of organic and conventional fields was investigated at different plots. The fungi were isolated by using soil dilution method. Total of six genera were obtained from 10 soil samples. On the basis of cultural and microscopic characteristics, the isolated strains were identified as Aspergillus sp. Penicillium sp., Alternaria sp., Fusarium sp., Cladosporium sp. and Gliocladium sp. Aspergillus species showed the highest percentage among the six genera.

The influence of two factors - "broomrape" and "soil type" on quantities of seven trophic groups of soil microorganisms (Autochthonous; Oligotrophic; Actinomycetes; Microscopic fungi; Ammonifying; Assimilating mineral nitrogen; Aerobic nitrogen-fixing bacteria of the genus Azotobacter) were determined. Soil samples for microbiological analysis were taken from the rhizosphere zone of plants in sunflower crops from two soil types (Haplic Vertisols and Chromic Cambisols), in phenological phases of sunflower and of broomrape - "flowering".

Mycorrhiza is important fungi for agriculture. To study of that plant’s root and soil samples were collected from the different regions of junagadh and near to junagadh district. AMF spores were isolated by Wet-sieving-decanting method and AdhesionFlotation Technique. Morphological studies followed by tryphan blue staining revealed different stages with different components of AM fungi in compound microscope.
