  • The paper proposed an antenna array consisting of four bow-shaped dipole elements. The antenna array operates at a center frequency of 5 GHz with a bandwidth of 332 MHz. By utilizing the reflector and the directors, the antenna obtains a high gain of 10.6 dBi at 5 GHz and over 10.3 dBi across the operating bandwidth.

  • A Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna with high isolation is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna includes two sets of four elements (2 × 2) and it is yielded at the central frequency of 5.5 GHz for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applications. Based on RT5880 with height of 1.575 mm, the overall size of MIMO antenna is 140 × 76 × 1.575 mm3 . To get high isolation between antenna elements, a Defected Ground Structure (DGS) is integrated on ground plane. Besides, the MIMO antenna witnesses a large bandwidth of 9.1% and an efficiency of 90% while the pick gain is 8.5 dBi.

  • In this paper, a novel antenna array at 5GHz is presented with a low sidelobe level and wide impedance bandwidth for indoor positioning applications . The antenna array has the size of 450 ×57×0.8 mm3 with the high gain of 14.5dBi and the low SLL of -18 dB at 5GHz. The sesier feed using Unequal Split T-Junction is proposed with the Chebyshev-amplitude distribution to improve SLL. Besides the 1800 phase and amplitude distribution, by deploying driven elements above each single antenna element, the radiation pattern and the gain of the antenna aray are significantly improved.

  • A 24×24 microstrip array antenna for Doppler radar is presented. For the low side lobe, the feeding network of microstrip array antenna is used for Taylor series amplitude weighting. The side lobe of microstrip array antenna is less than -18.5 dB at 24.15GHz. The proposal design is confirmed by both simulation and measured results.

The procedure to design a feeding network using Chebyshev weighting method will be proposed and presented.   • This paper proposes a 8 × 1 sprout-shaped antenna array with low sidelobe level (SLL) for outdoor point to point applications. The array has the dimensions of 165 mm × 195 mm × 1.575 mm and is designed on Rogers RT/Duroid 5870tm with the thickness of 1.575 mm and permittivity of 2.33. In order to achieve low SLL, Chebyshev distribution weights corresponding to SLL preset at -30 dB has been applied to design the feed of the array.
