The objective of this study is to examine the possibility of using the thermoluminescence (TL) of polymer fibers containing ground calcium carbonate (CaCO3 ) mineral fillers as emergency dosimeters. Calcite, consisting mostly of CaCO3 , is a TL material that exhibits two distinct TL peaks that can be exploited for dosimetry and is a naturally occurring mineral that is ubiquitously in use in everyday materials.

This paper examines how the effort choices of workers within the same firm interact with each other, and how this interaction depends on the technology of production. In contrast to the existing literature, we focus on showing how the effort choice of one worker can affect the effort choices of his co-workers based purely on income-maximizing considera- tions, rather than relying on behavioral explanations such as peer pressure, shame, etc.

Polymer nanocomposites are commonly defined as the combination of a polymer matrix and additives that have at least one dimension in the nanometer range. Over the past decade, polymer nanocomposites have attracted considerable interests in both academia and industry, owing to their outstanding mechanical properties like elastic stiffness and strength with only a small amount of the nanoadditives.
