This work involves a facile synthesis of three (S)-proline-based organocatalysts with C2 symmetry and their effects in enantioselective aldol reaction of acetone with substituted aromatic aldehydes. Moderate enantioselectivities (up to 61% ee) were obtained depending on the nature of the substituents on the aryl ring. Computational calculations at HF/6-31 + G(d) level were employed to underline the enantioselectivity imposed by all the organocatalysts.

To be more detailed, EWOM is the strongest factor while social network, here is Facebook, has weakest effect. Online advertising gives a moderate influence on young traveller consumption. This fraction showed the highest antioxidant activity by dose-dependent free radical scavenging action (IC50 69.50 ± 1.55 µg/mL). R. tomentosa leaf extracts, especially the n-hexane fraction, also exhibited strong antimicrobial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and fungi as well as moderate inhibitory effect on L-DOPA (L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine) oxidase activity of tyrosinase in the melanin biosynthesis pathway.

In the changing climate scenario, drought could be continued as a major abiotic limitation for crop productivity. Finger millet although known for its drought tolerance, the drought stress decreases the grain yield from 25 to 100 percent depending on the duration and magnitude of drought stress. Present study was conducted to explore the genetic variability of selected genotypes over the ruling varieties if any, based on the extent of reduction in grain yield, and dependent photosynthetic traits due to moderate drought stress for 18 to 20 days (grand growth to flower primordial initiation).

The present study was aimed at understanding the socio-economic conditions and adoption of sheep management practices in Karauli district of Rajasthan, India as it serves as a benchmark for evolving meaningful extension strategies and other policy interventions. The scenario in Karauli district revealed that sheep production is in the hands of traditional farmers; rearing under the extensive system of management. Most of the farmers had a poor socio-economic background with illiteracy. Majority is rearing a hairy coated dual purpose breed with small flock sizes ranging from 25 to 50 heads.

Mango malformation, a century old malady of Mangifera indica, is considered as the major constraints for mango production worldwide. Several reports claimed that Fusarium species particularly Fusarium mangiferae is associated with mango malformation. Salicylic acid is an important signaling molecule that plays crucial role in plant microbial interactions. Trichoderma harzianum is a biocontrol agent that has moderate effect on soil balance and no harmful effect on other beneficial organisms in the soil. In this study we examined the effect of pH and temperature on the mycelia growth and spore yield of T. harzianum in batch and fed-batch culture. The pH and temperature had significant effect on the growth and sporulation of T. harzianum and this was dependent on the cultivation technique.

One hundred one genotypes/lines of mungbean germplasm were screened against MYMV, cercospora and anthracnose under natural field conditions at Tripura centre lembucherra. The germplasm was categorized in to resistant and susceptible depending upon severity of disease. The present investigation aimed to identify stable both MYMV, cercospora and anthracnose resistant lines with high yielding through screening under natural condition. The experimental material consisted of 101germplasm lines screened under field condition.

Return migration is the gauge for changing socio-economic and political conditions in rural areas. Return migrated rural youths have involved themselves in agripreneurship development in rural areas. Here, the attitude of youths towards agripreneurship plays a critical role hence the study was taken with 180 return migrated rural youths in three selected states of southern India. The salient findings were the majority of the respondents (52.23%) possessed a moderately favourable attitude.

This paper identified their knowledge level of different ICTs in agriculture and allied sectors, their attitude towards different ICTs and their perceived effect of ICTs in agriculture and allied sectors. The study was conducted in the district of West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. A total of hundred samples were collected for the present study and was studied between March 2018 and May 2019. Lentil (Lens culinaris) is affected by the wilt disease caused by fungal pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lentis at seedling stage and at the later stages of growth. The pathogen is soil and seed borne in nature and reported from all lentil growing areas. The present investigation is on the management of the lentil wilt pathogen by exploiting the resistance mechanism of the host. Ninety two germplasms were screened along with the local check (Sehore) under field conditions during the two consecutive years 2016-17 and 2017-18.
