The study was conducted to evaluate the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on tax avoidance in Vietnam, when having moderating effect of chief executive officers’ power (CEO power). The study uses a data sample of 499 listed non-financial companies in the period 2016 to 2022 with 3,493 observations. We use the feasible generalized least squares model to assess the impact of CSR with the moderating effect of CEO power on tax avoidance.

The study examines the moderating effect of innovation in the relationship of supply chain management practices (SCMP) and firm performance (FP) of the SMEs of Indonesia. To achieve this objective, using cross sectional research design, 250 questionnaires were distributed among the supply chain managers of the SMEs by using a convenient sampling technique which yield an 80% response rate. The data was analyzed by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique.

The research examines a model that describes the correlation between sustainability awareness, green supply chain management (GSCM) practices (green purchasing, consumer engagement and investment recovery) and firms’ performance (FP). Survey responses from 210 manufacturing firms influential in Indonesia, this research has developed many significant observations.

Objective of the study is to explore the moderating effect of the information sharing on the relationship of supply chain management (SCM) capabilities and business performance (BP) of Indonesia food industry. Using cross sectional research design, 500 questionnaires were distributed among the supply chain managers of food industry by using a judgmental sampling technique which yield a 40% response rate. The data was analyzed by the Structural Equation Modeling technique.

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is one of the most common gastrointestinalrelated causes of hospitalization in the USA, accounting for more than 200,000 admissions annually. Although mild and moderate cases usually improve within a week, severe AP conditions could lead to lifethreatening pancreatic necrosis, multiple-organ dysfunction, and be fatal in some cases.

This thesis involved an examination of the impact of moderator variables on the extended technology acceptance model with the aim of developing a more integrative framework for understanding mobile broadband technology acceptance in Indonesia. The absence of an integrative model that incorporates other types of variables, such as moderator factors, in the current literature indicates the importance of developing such a framework.

Goal-directed fluid therapy (GDFT) based on dynamic indicators of fluid responsiveness has been shown to decrease postoperative complications and hospital length of stay (LOS) in patients undergoing major abdominal surgery. The usefulness of this approach still needs to be clarified in low-to-moderate risk abdominal surgery.

This study examined physiological stress reactions—galvanic skin response (GSR) and heart rate—to an induced state of nomophobia (inability to use one’s smartphone). A 2 x 2 experimental design was employed: half the participants received text message smartphone alerts that they could not answer; the other half silenced and put away their phones. Half the participants were heavy technology users and half were moderate technology users to examine stress reactions between groups that had previously displayed differing levels of self-reported anxiety.

Synthesis of a new (E)-N1-((9-ethyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl)methylene)-5-nitrobenzene-1,2-diamine as a fluorescent chemosensor for selective detection of Fe3+ ion over a number of other metal ions is described. The method for the synthesis of the carbazole Schiff base was based on the condensation of carbazole-3-carbaldehyde with 4-nitro-ophenyldiamine in dimethylformamide in a moderate yield. The structure of the final compound was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, mass spectrometry, and single crystal X-ray diffraction.

The paper presents the results of the development of a neutron detector for radiation protection purposes. Monte Carlo simulations, using MCNP5 code, were performed to optimize the configuration of the neutron detector. The developed detector consists of a 3He proportional counter embedded in a multi-layer moderator made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and Cadmium.

In recent decades, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has gradually become popular in academic and professional fields. However, there is little research on the benefits of CSR practices in the Human Resource Management (HRM). Most of these researches focused on the relation of HRM to the implementation and development of CSR objectives and strategies. Our paper proposes a theoretical model of the effect of HRM on the competitive advantages with CSR as a moderating variable.

Sheath blight (SB), caused by Rhizoctonia solani, is a common rice disease worldwide. Currently, rice cultivars with robust resistance to R. solani are still lacking. To provide theoretic basis for molecular breeding of R. solani-resistant rice cultivars, the changes of transcriptome profiles in response to R. solani infection were compared between a moderate resistant cultivar (Yanhui-888, YH) and a susceptible cultivar (Jingang-30, JG).
