Modified hydrothermal method

Non-metallic C, N, and S doped TiO2 materials were prepared using the hydrothermal method from titanyl sulfate solution with different doped precursors. The influence of non-metallic elements on crystal structure, morphology, surface area, bonding state, and light absorption ability of materials was studied through XRD, SEM, BET spectra, and UVis - DRS.

In this work, gold nanorods (AuNRs) with well-controlled aspect ratios were prepared using a modified seedgrowth method and covered by TiO2 layers through the hydrothermal reaction to improve stability. Integrating TiO2 with plasmonic rod-like gold nanoparticles could enhance their photo activity by the local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect. AuNRs aspect ratios were controlled by varying the amount of seed solution, reducing agents, surfactant (CTAB), and titanium (IV) but oxide.

In this paper, modified hydrothermal method for Ti-MWW catalyst preparation has been shown. Instrumental analysis of the zeolite material Ti-MWW has been performed by means of UV-vis spectrometry, infrared spectrometry (IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray microanalysis.
