In this study the effectiveness of plant growth regulators on micropropagation, total phenol content and metabolic profiles of Melissa officinalis L., important medicinal herb was assessed. The stem segments derived from one-month old in vitro germinated seedlings were used for initial explants. Of the eight different nutrient media tested the most favorable for micropropagation were found to be MP2 (MS medium enriched with 1mg/L BAP and 0.1 mg/L IBA) and MP3 (MS supplemented with 1.5 mg/L BAP and 0.5 mg/L NAA), which yielded 3.25- 4.0 shoots per explant within 4 weeks of culture.

Thus, determining the most effective relief regimen is important in the management of more severe asthma. This study’s objective was to evaluate whether ipratropium bromide/albuterol metered-dose inhaler (CVT-MDI) provides more effective acute relief of bronchospasm in moderate-to-severe asthma than albuterol hydrofluoroalkaline (ALB-HFA) alone after 4 weeks.

Bovine ocular squamous cell carcinoma also called cancer eye, represents the most economically important neoplasm in large animals. Hereditary factors, environmental factors (e.g. latitude, altitude, exposure to sunlight), lack of eyelid pigmentation, age and dietary habits have all been reported to play a role in the etiopathogenesis of bovine ocular squamous cell carcinoma. Twenty four animals were subjected to surgical excision and autogenous vaccine was administered weekly once for four weeks. All the animals recovered completely with no recurrence for a follow up period of one year.

In the present study attempts have been made to identify a most important weeks for wheat yield at district level. Weekly data of 18 meteorological weeks on (47th to 52nd weeks on first year and 1st to 12th Standard Meteorological Weeks, SMW for 2nd year) on minimum temperature over a span of 20 year (1995 to 2015) has been used along with the annual wheat production data (used as detrened yield for fitting of model) for Faizabad district of eastern U.P. Distribution of temperature has been recorded for wheat crop. Yield of wheat crop was recorded yearly for the study.

This survey was conducted in rice field during kharif season of year 2017 at Pusa farm of Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar. The important egg parasitoids of major insect pest of rice were observed for stem borer egg mass and leaf folder egg mass. The dominant egg parasitoid actively present throughout the kharif season on stem borer eggs was Trichogramma japonicum, it was found most active during the 33rd standard week of August 51.42% and least active in the 30th standard week of July 3.03%.

Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) is an important spice crop severely affected by the virus causes leaf curl symptoms. Efficient transmission of Chilli Leaf Curl Virus was done by using a standardized buffer for sap inoculation to chilli plants. In present investigation, we have used three simple methods i.e. inoculation by syringe, rubbing and by immersion (dip) for sap inoculation and found reproducible when the sap from the infected plants was inoculated onto healthy plants. Out of the three methods used, syringe inoculation was found most efficient method for sap transmission.

The present study develops a protocol for rapid in vitro micropropagation of a critically endangered and floriculturally most important epiphytic orchid, Dendrobium primulinum Lindl. through the culture of small shoot tip explants (0.3 to 0.5mm) derived from in vitro grown seedlings. The shoot tip explants cultured on solidified Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium and MS medium alone or supplemented with combination of various concentrations of growth regulators; α-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and 6 benzylaminopurine (BAP), produced shoots and multiple shoots.

Dongjin) under drought condition by withholding water. In response to drought treatment, three-week-old rice seedlings exhibited typically morphological responses as leafs rolling and drying at 48 h after exposure to water deficit.
