Distant metastasis remains the main cause of death in breast cancer. Breast cancer risk is strongly influenced by pathogenic mutation. This study was designed to develop a multiple-feature model using clinicopathological and imaging characteristics adding pathogenic mutations associated signs to predict recurrence or metastasis in breast cancers in high familial risk women.

In this article, we aimed to characterize the diffuse gastric cancer cells with MRI and transcriptomic data. We hypothesized that gene expression pattern is associated with the phenotype of the cells and that the heterogeneous enhancement pattern and the high tumorigenicity of SNU484 can be modulated by the perturbation of the highly expressed gene.

Short-chain enoyl-CoA hydratase (SCEH or ECHS1) deficiency is a rare congenital metabolic disorder caused by biallelic mutations in the ECHS gene. Clinical phenotype includes severe developmental delay, regression, dystonia, seizures, elevated lactate, and brain MRI abnormalities consistent with Leigh syndrome (LS). SCEH is most notably involved in valine catabolism.
