The study was conducted to investigate the clinical outcomes and mortality risk factors related to Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia in patients with and without diabetes mellitus (DM). This was a case-control study on 118 patients with S. aureus pneumonia hospitalized between April 2021 and May 2023.

The aim of the study was to explore how the logistics, micro, market and macro coordination dimensions affect the availability of artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) in general hospitals in Uganda. Following a qualitative approach, a multiple case study strategy was used. Specifically, four focus group discussions, each consisting of 8 respondents were conducted from four purposively selected hospitals.

The research objective was to analyze the attitudes of decision-makers in the innovation adoption process in the Brazilian beef chain industry. The study’s approach was qualitative and exploratory, and the method was a study of multiple cases in the beef chain industry. To reach the objective, 17 rural properties in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul were investigated. Unstructured interviews were conducted to map the decision-makers’ attitudes regarding the innovation adoption process. Content analysis was performed using the ATLAS.TI software.

The clinical significance of tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) is not well-documented in early oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma (OTSCC). Methods: A total of 310 cases of early (cT1-2N0) OTSCC were included in this multicenter study. Assessment of TLSs was conducted on hematoxylin and eosin-stained sections.
