Multistage model

This paper is an application of multistage statistical process control for managing the software development process. The suggested methodology is a combination of process performance models and control charts.

The estimation of crop yield before harvest helps in different policy making in an order for storage, distribution, marketing, pricing, import-export etc. Crop productions depend on several factors such as weather factors, plant characters and agricultural inputs. The present study was carried out to develop the appropriate statistical model for estimation of rice yield before harvest in the year 2018-19. This research was done on plant biometrical characters along with farmer’s appraisal.

This paper aims to calculate individual bank efficiency based on cross-sectional study data and output-oriented super-efficiency data envelopment analysis model of a slack variable. Then, the panel data model is used to analyze the dynamic efficiency and continuity of the operating performance and to assess the deferred effects of Taiwan’s banks as a whole and individually. The empirical result shows that all efficiency values have intertemporal or multistage deferred dynamic sustainability. With a mean value of continuity of all efficiency values of up to 89.

Valuation analysis based on the present value of future cash flows often requires a multistage valuation model which includes a terminal value. An accurate calculation of the terminal value is very important, particularly if it represents a significant portion of the stock price.

A new model is developed in this paper which demonstrates a flexible method for modeling a cash flow stream with a declining growth rate that asymptotically approaches a mature long-term growth rate. This model can be applied when the initial growth rate in cash flows is temporarily larger than the required rate of return.

Land holding, In Ichak block of Hazaribagh district farmers are adopting different land use practices (viz. agriculture and agroforestry systems) on their land. The present investigation was conducted to identify the existing agroforestry practices and livelihood status of farmers. For conducting the study a total of 160 households from four panchayats and eight villages (two villages from each panchayat) were selected through multistage random sampling.

In this chapter, we assume that the appropriate measure of future equity cash flows is dividends. We will use dividend discount models (DDMs) and the discount rates discussed in Chapter 2 to determine the common stock value. The topics discussed in this chapter are: An overview of present value models, the general form of the DDM, the Gordon growth model, multistage dividend discount models, and the determinants of dividend growth rates.
