The use of natural-origin active compounds in disease treatment is currently a prevailing trend. Mangiferin, a major component found in mangoes, is present in relatively high proportions. To develop a formulation and process for producing nano mangiferin using the selfassembly method with phosphatidylcholine and chitosan.

This study presents the functionalization of liquid natural rubber (LNR) by iron-mediated radical chloro-nitration over the LNR backbone, resulting in a chloro-nitro compound of liquid natural rubber (Cl-N-LNR). The chloro-nitration was prepared by a reaction of LNR with iron(III) nitrate nonahydrate and iron(III) chloride in an organic solvent. T

In this study, we used the reliable GC-FID/MS technique to analyze the methyl ester derivatives of 37 different kinds of fatty acids. The results showed that high saturated fat concentration in all samples was mostly palmitic acid, whereas the low unsaturated fatty acid content in the cis form was primarily oleic acid and linoleic acid. The amount of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats is quite low.

This plant contains natural compounds such as iridoids, naphthalene glycosides, and especially anthraquinones and anthraquinone glycosides. [9,10] Several compositions of M. longissima stems and roots have been reported to inhibit the in vitro replication of the hepatitis B virus. [11,12] Thus, the search for TNF-α inhibitors from the M. longissima plant and their natural constituents, especially anthraquinone compounds, by molecular docking approaches is necessary for the discovery of potential drug candidates for inflammation-mediated diseases.

Flavonoids are a diverse group of natural compounds extensively studied in various research articles. They are widely distributed in the plant kingdom and exhibit various biological activities, including antioxidant, antiinflammatory, anticancer, antiviral, and antimicrobial effects. The genus Knema Lour., which contains many species in Southeast Asia, has been traditionally used to treat various ailments. The current review aims to provide a comprehensive update on the isolation of flavonoids and other secondary metabolites from the genus Knema Lour. between 1978 and 2022.

Terpenoid indole alkaloids (TIAs) vincristine and vinblastine are two essential anticancer drugs used in cancer treatments. These compounds are naturally available only in Catharanthus roseus in low accumulation, leading to efforts to upregulate TIAs substances through other expression organisms. The combination of vindoline and catharanthine into α-3∼,4∼- anhydrovinblastine (AVLB) is an important step for the biosynthesis of vinca alkaloids, which serves as a precursor to vinblastine and vincristine.

In Vietnam, a tea-producing country, the tea buds and top three leaves are normally used for tea production while older leaves are pruned and discarded as agricultural waste in the winter. The present study aimed to exploit catechins from pruned tea leaves and use them as natural antioxidants for applications in the food industry.
