Hsa_circ_001726 functioned as an oncogene in HCC, which was derived from CCT2 and regulated by E2F6. Hsa_circ_001726 elevated PRMT9 expression by sponging miR-671-5p, and then activated Notch signaling pathway, thereby accelerating malignant phenotypes of HCC. Therefore, targeting hsa_circ_001726 may be a new avenue for HCC treatment.

This study demonstrates correlations between element diffusion behavior and notch-point formation in ACIGS films, which ultimately influence the resulting current circuit voltage and fill factor. Our findings delineate a novel approach for fabricating a suitably tailored band gap grading in ACIGS, which serves as a bottom subcell in tandem configuration.

Left-sided lesions (LSLs) account for an important fraction of severe congenital cardiovascular malformations (CVMs). The genetic contributions to LSLs are complex, and the mutations that cause these malformations span several diverse biological signaling pathways: TGFB, NOTCH, SHH, and more.

Breast cancer is a complex disease exhibiting a great degree of heterogeneity due to different molecular subtypes. Notch signaling regulates the differentiation of breast epithelial cells during normal development and plays a crucial role in breast cancer progression through the abnormal expression of the Notch up-and down-stream effectors.

Macrophage infiltration in the tumor microenvironment participates in the regulation of tumor progression. Previous studies have found that Notch signaling pathway is involved in regulating the progression of colorectal cancer (CRC), however, the specific mechanism is still unclear.

The prognostic characteristics of pancreatic cancer (PC) are determined by the contributing factors from the tumor microenvironment. Leptin is a critical oncogenic factor released by adipocytes as an adipokine into the tumor microenvironment, where it promotes tumor development by activating cancer stem cell (CSC) molecular regulators Notch, Hedgehog, and Wnt/β-catenin signaling. One of the downstream targets of these pathways is CDK4/6 and cyclin D which is controlled by P16 INK4A that is highly mutated in PC.

Since colon cancer stem cells (CSCs) play an important role in chemoresistance and in tumor recurrence and metastasis, targeting of CSCs has emerged as a sophisticated strategy for cancer therapy. α-mangostin (αM) has been confirmed to have antiproliferative and apoptotic effects on cancer cells.

Nerve injury-induced neuropathic pain is a major health problem worldwide. Notch signaling is a highly conserved pathway in evolution, which has an important role in synaptic plasticity and inflammation in central nervous system. The present study was designed to investigate the potential role of notch signaling in the development of neuropathic pain.

Albino mutations are commonly observed in the animal kingdom, including in bivalves. In the blacklipped pearl oyster Pinctada margaritifera, albino specimens are characterized by total or partial absence of colouration resulting in typical white shell phenotype expression.

The suprascapular notch (SSN), bridged by the superior transverse scapular ligament (STSL), creates a pathway for the suprascapular nerve (SN). Morphological variations in the SSN region are common and can increase the risk of neuropathy by constricting the space for the nerve.

The HIF-1α/Notch signaling pathway regulates cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metabolism in the intervertebral discs (IVDs) and is implicated in disc degeneration. The nucleus pulposus (NP) is an important structure adjacent to the IVDs. However, the role of the HIF-1α/Notch signaling pathway in NP cells obtained from patients with different Modic changes (MCs) remains unclear.

The mechanistic target of rapamycin complex1 (mTORC1) signaling pathway has been implicated in functions of multicellular processes, including cell growth and metabolism. Although recent reports showed that many signaling pathways, including Activin, Bmp, Fgf, sonic hedgehog, Insulin-like growth factor (IGF), Notch, retinoic acid, and Wnt, are implicated in non-mammalian vertebrate regeneration, also known as epimorphic regeneration, mTORC1 function remains unknown.

Mammalian early embryo development requires a well-orchestrated interplay of cell signaling pathways. Notch is a major regulatory pathway involved in cell-fate determination in embryonic and adult scenarios. However, the role of Notch in embryonic pre-implantation development is controversial.

Notch signalling regulates cell fate in most tissues, promoting precursor cell proliferation in some, but differentiation in others. Accordingly, downregulation or overactivity variously contributes to cancer development. So far, little is known about Notch pathway activity and function in the normal urothelium and in urothelial carcinoma (UC).

Deregulated Notch signaling is linked to a variety of tumors and it is therefore important to learn more about the frequency and distribution of Notch mutations in a tumor context. Methods: In this report, we use data from the recently developed Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia to assess the frequency and distribution of Notch mutations in a large panel of cancer cell lines in silico.
