  • In this study, rhenium/rhenium oxide nanoparticles (Re/ReO3NPs) have been produced for the first time in ultrapure water by using Femtosecond Pulsed Laser Ablation in Liquid (fsPLAL) method. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) measurements and results obtained for NPs show the existence of well-crystallized peaks and preferred phases. Re NPs have hexagonal structure while ReO3 NPs have the perovskite-like cubic crystal structures. The Re/ReO3 ratio is also determined to be 53/47 with ~ 20 nm crystallite size, while pure ReO3 crystallite sizes were measured to be ~ 25 nm.

  • In this work we present the results of measurement of the isomeric ratio of fission fragment 135 54 Xe in photofission of 237Np induced by bremsstrahlung in the Giant Dipole Resonance Region by the method using the inert gaseous flow. The experiments have been performed at the electron accelerator Microtron MT-25 of the Flerov laboratory of Nuclear Reaction, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Russia. The results were discussed and compared with that of other authors.

  • A field study was carried out in Horticulture Research Farm, I.G.K.V. Raipur (C.G.) during rabi season 2007-08.The results indicated that vegetative growth contributing characters (leaf area index , fresh and dry weight per plant were influenced by combination of 100%K and 75% NP along with Azotobacter, Azospirillum and PSB (T8). Yield contributing characters (like number of seed per umbellet, 1000-seed weight (g), total no of seed per plant (g) and seed yield (q/ha) maximum in (T8) were given better performance respectively over all the treatments.

  • A field experiment was carried out in the pot culture of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, C S Azad University of Agriculture & Technology during 2017-18. The experiment consisted of 9 treatments viz. T1: Control, T2: N (RDN 100%), T3: NP (100%), T4: NPK (100%) T5: NPK (100%) + Zn5, T6: NPK (100%) + S30, T7: NPK (100%) + Zn5 + S30, T8: 75% (RDF) + Zn5 + S30 + 25% through FYM and T9: 75% (RDF) + Zn5 + S30 + 25% through FYM + PSB @ 2.5 Kg ha-1 in soil assigned in randomized block design replicated thrice during rabi season of 2017-18.

  • The synthesis of graphene (Gr) - gold (Au) nanoparticle (NP) composite was achieved using continuous ultraviolet wave exposure. The functional groups were investigated with FTIR spectra. From the Raman spectra, D-band and G-band of Gr were identified. As a result, the uniform deposition of nanometer-sized Au NPs on the Gr sheets was observed from the field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) images. The photodegradation of methylene blue in aqueous solutions was studied using various photocatalysts, including neat TiO2, Gr/TiO2 and Gr-Au/TiO2 composites.

  • Soybean is a major kharif crop of Kota district, which accounts for more than 50 percent acreage of kharif sown area of the district. Front line demonstrations (FLD’s) on soybean crop were conducted during kharif seasons of year 2016 to 2018 in 140 ha area on 340 farmer’s fields in 17 different villages of operational area of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kota to demonstrate production potential of improved agro-techniques.   • Blackgram is a major kharif pulse crop in Kota district of Rajasthan, which covers more than 25 percent acreage of kharif sown area of the district. However, average yield of the district varying between 5-7.25 q ha-1 which can be enhanced up to 10 q ha-1 or more by the adoption of new varieties and recommended agro-techniques. To demonstrate improved production technologies, cluster front-line demonstrations were conducted on blackgram crop by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kota, during kharif 2016 to 2018 on 260 farmer fields of the district.

  • This paper reports an investigation of the microwave-assisted synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using extract of stinky bean (Parkia speciosa Hassk) pods (BP). The formation of Ag NPs was identified by instrumental analysis consists of UV–vis spectrophotometry, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometry, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and particle size analysis. Furthermore, Ag NPs were used as antibacterial agents against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

  • The study provides an interesting observation that particulate OC and EC have spatial and temporal variations dependent on sampling sites and weather conditions. In contrast, consistent OC/EC ratios were also found at both seasons of each location, in which the ratios were from 3.68 to 5.68. The correlations of OC and EC were found in the rainy season with the slopes ranging from 0.21–0.34; however, these correlations were not observed in the dry season.

The decision version of this problem is NP-complete and its optimization is not likely to be approximable within a ratio of O(n) for some  0. We study this problem when D is a random instance. We show that, almost surely, any maximal solution is within an o(ln n) factor from the optimal one. In addition, except when D is very sparse (having n1+o(1) edges), this ratio is in fact O(1).
