Obtaining exchange rates

This study focuses on identifying the factors that lead to energy consumption in select newly industrialized countries of Asia such as China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. GDP, Exchange rate, industrialization, urbanization and trade openness are the select factors identified and such data is obtained for a period from 1980 to 2018.

Zinc hydroxyapatite coatings (ZnHAp) were synthesized on 316L stainless steel by ion exchange method between hydroxyapatite coatings (HAp) and solution containing Zn(NO3)2. Effect of the initial concentration of Zn2+ and contact time to ion exchange process was studied. The analytical results of FTIR, SEM, Xray, and AAS showed that the obtained coatings were single phase crystals of HAp, and the present of Zn in HAp structure with the atomic ratios of Zn/Ca, (Ca + Zn)/P of 0.143 and 1.707 changed the morphology, the crystal diameter and the lattice parameters.

In a previous study, generally lower drug release rates from RL:L55 blend coated pellets in neutral/basic release media than in acidic release media were reported. The aim of this study was to obtain information on the drug release mechanism of solid dosage forms coated with blends of Eudragit® RL (RL) and Eudragit® L-55 (L55). Swelling experiments with free films were analyzed spectroscopically and gravimetrically to identify the physicochemical cause for this release behavior. With Raman spectroscopy, the swelling of copolymer films could be monitored.

The paper intends to measure the daily Value-at-Risk (VaR) for Rial-Euro exchange rate fluctuations risk. Since in this case we deal with a single risk factor, so we will not use the Monte Carlo simulation method to measure the VaR and we will only use the parametric and historical simulation methods for this purpose. The parametric method using the normal distribution and historical simulation with exponentially weighted data and without weighting is used to calculate VaR.

The thermal performance of a single pass solar air heater with five fins attached was investigated experimentally. Longitudinal fins were used inferior the absorber plate to increase the heat exchange and render the flow fluid in the channel uniform. The effect of mass flow rate of air on the outlet temperature, the heat transfer in the thickness of the solar collector, and the thermal efficiency were studied. We generate a large number of predictive models by applying linear kernel SVR to historical currency rates’ bid data for three currency pairs obtained from high-frequency trading. The bid tick data are converted into equally spaced (1 min) data. Differences of price between the previous successive timeframes are used as features to predict the direction of movement of the price in the next timeframe.
