Femoral neck fracture (FNF) is a common intracapsular fracture in the elderly as a result of osteoporosis, which tends to increase with humans’ extended longevity. Regarding treatment for undisplaced FNF, internal fixation is mostly used, while primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) is used for older patients with displaced FNF because of the high rate of avascular necrosis and nonunion.

Hypertension is prevalent in the elderly, affecting two-thirds of individuals aged 60 years and older. Ambulatory blood pressure measurement (ABPM) is recommended for diagnosing and managing hypertension in this population.
