In the present scenario of global business competition, web-based technology is of great importance. It has become an extremely important criterion where businesses are now adopting ecommerce such as electronic procurement for the operation management of their organization. Despite this, they are still experiencing slow adoption of eprocurement. The main objective of this study was to determine the extent of e-procurement implementation in Malaysia organization as well as identify the relationship between the e-procurement system and supply chain performance among organizations in Malaysia.

The prime objective of the current study is to explore the relationship between supply chain operational performance and firm supply chain management in the reference of agency theory. This study has aimed to analyze the impact of lean production practices on operational and financial performance of manufacturing firms in Thailand in mediating role of implementation of industry 4.0. Data has been collected from employees of 53 manufacturing firms in Thailand through structured questionnaire and then this data was analyzed on SPSS and AMOS for screening and hypotheses testing respectively.

The paper examines both the direct and indirect impact of implementing E-Supply Chain Management (E-SC) practices on performance of Omani manufacturing firms. A Structural Equation Modelling analysis was conducted based on a large scale survey applied to 108 manufacturing firms. Results of the research revealed that E-SC practices had a direct positive effect on both business and operational performance, where their direct effects on operational performance was stronger than their effect on business performance.

Stock return can be one of the representations of a company’s performance in investment. This study aims at investigating the factors determining the stock return of the largest users of energy production of oil, gas and coal classified in the manufacturing companies at Indonesia’s Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. It involved 134 companies classifies as the largest users of energy production of oil, gas and coal classified as the manufacturing entries in IDX that were used as the target of the population and all were selected for the sample of this study.

The deficiency of secure and reliable electrical power is a constraint to firm performance and its competitiveness in developing countries. Several countries in the south Asian region face electricity shortages leading to frequent power outages. This study investigate the effect of power outages on the technical efficiency of firms in selected South Asian countries. The study employed the stochastic frontier approach to estimate the technical efficiency of firms. We use the OLS and Beta regression to estimate the effect of power outages on technical efficiency of manufacturing firms.

This paper examines the impact of supplier relationship management on the operational performance of firms. The data was collected from 304 manufacturing plants in 4 Asian countries in the period 2013-2015. The results of statistical descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis indicate that supplier relationship management has a positive relationship with operational performance.
