This study employs the Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA) algorithm to evaluate input variable importance and select the most reliable salinity prediction model. Based on an analysis of observed salinity data and climate data extracted from Landsat 8 OLI in the Google Earth Engine platform, the BMA algorithm identifies the significance of critical variables and optimal salinity prediction models.

The multiple response optimization and ranking of input parameters were productively completed by GRA to find the effect of each of it. Analysis of variance produced the higher significant factor from selected parameters with percentage of their contribution and was confirmed with an affirmation (verification) test for the obtained optimal set of factors. Thus, the hybrid GRA with Taguchi technique design provides the optimal design parameters affecting multi-performances of TFC system.

A hybrid process combining the turning-burnishing operation is a prominent solution to improve productivity due to the reduction in the auxiliary time. The objective presents a parameter-based optimization of the compressed air-assisted turning-burnishing (CATB) process to enhance the Vickers hardness (HN) and decrease the roughness (SR). The inputs are the cutting speed (V), depth of cut (a), feed rate (f), and ball diameter (D). A turning machine was used in conjunction with the turning-burnishing device to perform the experimental runs for aluminum 6061.

The paper presents the multi-objective optimization of the SCr445 (45X) steel turning process with input parameters: cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut. Two optimal targets are surface roughness (SR) and material removal rate (MRR). Based on the genetic algorithm (GA) optimizing multi-objective cutting parameters simultaneously combined with Pareto search solution and optimization solution, besides along with empirical research to select the optimal cutting parameters.

This paper determines a suitable opening angle of the hydraulic support legs of M46-130 mm self-propelled artillery. It is a combination of M46-130 mm field gun, mounted on KrAZ-255B 6x6 military truck chassis. Based on results of investigating the changes of forces and moments acting on artillery system in static condition when changing the opening angle of hydraulic support legs at critical fire angles, a suitable angle is selected at ψ = 400 and γ = 200 . From that angle, this paper shows a table consists of geometric parameters, forces and moments acting on system.

Lack of coordination between network layers limits the performance of most proposed solution for new challenges posed by wireless networks. To overcome such limitations, cross-layer physical and medium access (PHY-MAC) design for multi-input-multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiple access system in heterogeneous networks (HetNETs) is proposed. Query processing in the original TinyDB implementation works as follows. The query is input on the user’s PC, or basestation. This query is optimized to improve execution; currently, TinyDB only considers the order of selection predicates during optimization (as the existing version does not support joins). Once optimized, the query is translated into a sensor-network specific format and injected into the network via a gateway node.
