Dental caries is a multifactorial and dynamic disease caused by damage to dental hard tissues. It is known as the most common disease of oral health conditions in school-aged children. Caries can affect children’s quality of life, such as studying, recreational activities, and psychosocial well-being. In recent years, some studies done in other provinces of Vietnam reported that the rate of dental caries in primary and permanent dentition was still high.

Currently, many patients with dermatophytosis are treated with a variety of antifungal drugs but they are ineffective and relapses are common. Many antifungal drugs have been used but fails to treat the disease, which can globally become an issue in medical practice. The combination of antifungal drugs for the treatment of dermatophytosis, including oral itraconazole and topical terbinafine, has been shown to be more effective than monotherapy.

Current status of oral disease among 3-5 year-old children in some kindergartens in Hue city in 2019
Dental caries is a common disease and is acquired very early in children after teething. Primitive teeth play an important role in chewing, so oral disease will affect the physical development of children. The objective of the study was to investigate the current status of oral disease, the role of the mother and related factors of 3-5 year-old children.

Amyloid-b(Ab) aggregation and amyloid formation are key pathological features of Alzheimer’s disease, and are considered to be two of the major contributing factors to neurodegeneration and dementia. Identification of small molecule inhibitors that are orally available, have low toxicity and high central nervous system bioavailability is one approach to the potential development of a disease-modifying treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
