The study aims to evaluate the efficiency of SLFs on the biomass production, biochemical and physiological processes; and the study was carried out at different SLF concentrations of selected seaweeds i.e. Kappaphycus alvarezii, Gelidiella acerosa and Turbinaria ornata. The comparative analysis of the growth performance of two unicellular green alga on three different organic media suggest that the liquid fertilizer from red seaweed was highly efficient than the SLF prepared from brown seaweed.

This study was conducted with synthetic wastewater from urea and ammonia (representing nitrogen fertilizer production wastewater) and additional carbon source of methane (CH4). Methane and air were supplied to microbial liquid phase using a bubble air stone aerator located at the bottom of a bioreactor with methane gas flowrate ranges from 1 to 2 L/h, air flowrate ranges from 3 to 6 L/h.

The study revealed that, application of seriwaste bio-digester effluent to mulberry along with other organic manures increased the rearing and cocoon parameters providing all the essential nutrients for mulberry growth compared to application of sole inorganic fertilizers and in turn it contributed for quality cocoon production. Utilization of sericulture waste generated during mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing leads to generate additional income, entrepreneurship development in sericulture and value addition in turn contributing to achieve sustainability in sericulture.

A study on quality analysis and characterization of Panchagavya, Jeevumrutha and Sasyamrutha was carried out in the departments of soil science, plant pathology and biochemistry, UBKV, coochbehar-736165, West Bengal during February, 2019. Motive of this work was to characterize these liquid organic manures according to their Physical properties, macro and micro nutrient Content, Microbial population and amount of growth promoters present in them. Jeevumrutha recorded highest values in most of the parameters followed by Panchagavya and Sasyamrutha.

An experiment was conducted with three levels of phosphorus (0, 20 and 40 kg/ha) and three levels of spraying of Novel organic liquid fertilizer @ 10 ml/liter (at branching, at flowering and at branching and flowering both) to study the effect of phosphorus and organic liquid fertilizer on yield, quality and nutrient content and uptake. An application of 40 kg P2O5/ha was recorded significantly higher seed yield (1168 kg/ha), haulm yield (2475 kg/ha), protein content (19.34 %), N (3.09% and 0.59%) and P (0.71 and 0.58%) content in seed and haulm over control, respectively.

Marigold organic liquid manure (MOLM) obtained during the processing of marigold flowers was tested in the field with field bean as test crop. Total seven treatments comprising of MOLM mixing with borewell water at different ratios (100:0, 75:25, 50:50 and 25:75 of MOLM: Borewell water) which was compared with the recommended organic liquid manure sources for crop production such as Jeevamrutha @ 2000 L ha-1 and Biodigester liquid @ 3000 L ha-1 .
